Launching a website isn’t the finish line. It’s where the real work begins.
Before you celebrate the launch, make sure your website is:
✅ Search-ready
Optimise technical SEO, internal linking, structured data, local visibility and content for both search engines and AI-powered search.
✅ Conversion-ready
Test every form, CTA, button, phone link, WhatsApp link, booking flow, checkout and email notification. A beautiful website that loses leads isn’t doing its job.
✅ Measurement-ready
Set up GA4, Google Tag Manager and Search Console. Track meaningful events, verify attribution and make sure your data is accurate.
✅ Performance-ready
Check mobile speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, image optimisation, third-party scripts and the overall user experience.
✅ Trust-ready
Make business information, privacy policies, terms, refund details, reviews, security signals and proof of results easy to find.
✅ Promotion-ready
Connect your website with Google Business Profile, email, social and paid campaigns. Use proper campaign tracking and send users to relevant landing pages—not always the homepage.
✅ Content-ready
Create useful, original, experience-led content that answers real customer questions instead of publishing generic pages just to rank.
✅ Retention-ready
Give visitors a clear reason to stay connected through email or WhatsApp, and build a simple nurture journey.
✅ Improvement-ready
Keep reviewing performance. Find pages with high impressions but low CTR, traffic but poor conversions, and drop-offs in important user journeys.
The real post-launch question isn’t:
“Is the website live?”
It’s:
“Can the right people find it, trust it, convert on it—and can we measure what’s working?”
Save this checklist for your next website launch.
