Dear parents
Everyone, including the teachers are appalled and shocked over the recent incidents related to school children. But in our fight against the criminals ,we are forgetting that teachers too are human beings and can work only upto a certain level of their capabilities. Reaching the schools early and leaving long after the kids leave is taking a toll on their physical and mental health.( don't forget that they have to remain on toes for long hours, managing over 40-50 naughty brats) Whenever such kind of incidents take place, they have to bear the maximum brunt- their duty hours are increased, put on bus duties(leave homes as early as 5 in the mornings and reach after 4), given extra duties ,etc which leads to an increase in their work time for around 3 hours a day. Now, who would want that in any of the profession. All this ultimately takes a toll on their mental and physical health and they are not able to give their best to our kids. Let's not forget that main job of teachers is providing education.
Safety of our kids is equally important and so it's the duty of the SCHOOL MANAGEMENTS to spend a few bucks and provide extra female staff for other jobs. Let us not be in haste and let the teachers be over worked or stressed so that they focus only on teaching. Security and other issues should be taken care by the school by employing verified trained staff
