World AIDS Day, observed on December 1st every year, stands as a global initiative aimed at increasing awareness about the AIDS pandemic stemming from HIV infection.

This day remembers those who have lost their lives due to the disease, supporting individuals living with HIV, and advocating for prevention, treatment, and support services.

The origins of World AIDS Day trace back to 1988 when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared it an official global health observance. Its establishment sought to provide a stage for governments, institutions, and individuals to elevate awareness and combat HIV/AIDS.

Marking the inception of the inaugural Global Health Day, it marked a pivotal milestone in the battle against the epidemic.
AIDS full form is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.

The main reason behind Constitution Day being celebrated on 26 November is because the Indian Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 and it was implemented in 1950, since then this day has been celebrated every year in India.

It also signifies the efforts to spread awareness of the values of the Constitution. It is also important to remember and follow the ideals and ideas ignited by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the hearts of millions of citizens of India and beyond.

This year marks the 132nd birth anniversary of Ambedkar, who was the chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly and played a vital role in the drafting of the Constitution.
