After BloombergGPT and JLL GPT failure will JP able to run the horses on its on LLM?

As per the report published by the Financial Times, JPMorgan chase & Company (JPM) has launched it’s own "ChatGPT-like product" named LLM Suite for their internal use and is now accessible to Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) segment employees.

JPM has launched it’s won LLM to assist employees in asset and wealth management, citing an internal memo. The LLM Suite platform can essentially act as a research analyst, helping with writing, generating ideas and summarising documents. JPM who have employed approx. 2,40,000 around the worlds from them It's been rolled out to about 50,000 staff. The product is "one of Wall Street's largest use cases" for generative artificial intelligence, which CEO Jamie Dimon said could impact every employee. The bank developed the in-house tool because regulations don't allow the use of consumer chatbots.

JPM offering training in using AI to all new joiners and most existing employees. LLM Suite is not JPM’s sole AI chatbot. It has two other tools, known as Connect Coach and SpectrumGPT, that are task-specific, contrary to LLM Suite.

This move is in line with other large banks that have been experimenting with AI over the last year in order to boost employees’ productivity and mitigate costs. Citigroup Inc. C projected in a June report that the technology could boost the total banking industry’s profits by 9% or $170 billion by 2028.

But my question is does JPM need to develop their own LLM as they already have collaboration with Open AI and we have already seen success ratio of BloombergGPT and JLL GPT. I think its answer will be given with the time only.

Are you a part of ML Olympiad 2024: Globally Distributed ML Competitions by Google ML Community



The Machine learning Olympiad 2024 organized by ML GDE, TFUG, and other ML communities, this is the best platform for ML developers to show learn and practice machine learning. Two editions of ML Olympiad in 2022 & 2023 already organized successfully by teams, the third round has now launched with support from Google for Developers for each competition host. In last two editions, 605 teams participated in 32 competitions, generating 105 discussions and 170 notebooks. Sounds alarm over deepfakes ahead of elections

Cyber criminals could hijack India’s elections process by deploying AI-generated “deepfakes” to mislead voters, a lot of govt. agencies cautioned same in remarks ahead of upcoming elections in India.

In recent times we had faced a lot of incidents occurred due to deepfake video or audio so how election process can be saved from this thing. Rapid advancement of AI technology and its potential to undermine elections not just in the India but globally also. “The era of deepfake and AI-generated content to mislead and disrupt is already in play.”

We have already come across a series of deepfake audios imitating Labour leader Keir Starmer and London Mayor Sadiq Khan circulated online last year. An India leader had created his own deepfake video in two languages before Delhi elections.

Recently a meeting held between ministry, followed by a recent pact signed by major AI companies like Adobe, Amazon, JSR Technologies, Google, and Microsoft during the Munich Security Conference to take “reasonable precautions” against disruptions caused by deepfake content during elections worldwide. It also mandates the labelling of deepfakes with permanent unique ID or other identifiers to prevent misuse.

Companies are saying that they will bookmark them as made deepfake but is our whole population too much knowledgeable to understand the same?

Will AI replace software engineers?

Nowadays, we are reading and hearing a lot about AI, but how successful it is in reality?

Can it replace human minds?

Let’s take an example; we need to develop a tool to identify crops planted in the fields. So do we really think it is able to match human eye? Finding difference between two vegetables like Cucumber and Zucchini is feasible for AI? We can try to any extent but still no tool able to match human mind. I do agree that AI is better from human minds in some cases but replacing human minds no chance at all.
