Some memories find you when you least expect them. ❤️
Today, I stumbled upon a few of newspaper clippings from my days at Hindustan Times, and they instantly took me back to where it all began.
I joined as an intern, never imagining that one day I’d get to write civic stories, cover events, interview people I admired, and see my byline in the newspaper. From covering local civic issues to reporting on events and meeting people from all walks of life, every assignment taught me something new.
Those years were full of learning, excitement, deadlines, field visits, odd working hours, and countless experiences that shaped me both professionally and personally. Looking back, I realize that the foundation of everything I do today was built during those early years.
I was fortunate to join Hindustan Times at the very beginning of my career and later got the opportunity to be involved in the launch of the HT Pace Amritsar edition before my journey continued to Mohali. It was a chapter that gave me confidence, perspective, and memories I will always cherish.
A special mention and heartfelt thank you to
If there is one person who has been a constant throughout my professional journey, it is him. He was the one who encouraged me to take on new opportunities and pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. One lesson from him has stayed with me all these years: success comes to those who have the right temperament towards it.
Whether it was during my time in editorial, while working with different teams within HT, or even after I moved on from the organization, he has continued to be a mentor, guide, and someone I can always turn to for advice. From day one of my career to where I am today, his guidance has been invaluable.
Some mentors teach you skills. The rare ones help shape the way you think, work, and grow. Thank you for being that person in my journey. 🙏
Feeling grateful today for the people, experiences, and opportunities that helped shape the person I am today. ❤️
Here’s to where it all started. 📰✨
