Don't bin that power supply.

Your graphics card, case, drives, monitor and Windows licence all move over. The cooler usually does too, cause AM4 coolers fit AM5. You're buying a CPU and board anyway. The one that stings is DDR4 — a DDR5 board won't take it, and memory is the one part still going up.

GTX 1660 Super vs RTX 2060 vs RX 580 vs GTX 1650 — 2026 Retire Row GPU Tier List India

You said your 1660 Super isn't dead. You're right.

All four measured at 1080p, against a 1660 Super. The RTX 2060 lands at 121% and beats a brand-new RTX 3050, which I did not expect. The RX 580 from 2017 still manages 80%. The GTX 1650 sits at 62%, and that one earned its spot.

New Gaming PC Settings 2026 India — 8 Windows Settings To Change First For More FPS

Your monitor is probably running at 60Hz right now.

Refresh rate first, cause Windows doesn't always pick your panel's max. I turn on variable refresh rate, GPU scheduling and windowed game optimisations, then turn off memory integrity (about 5% in games), pointer precision, Game Bar recording and startup apps.

RX 6800 XT vs 6700 XT vs 6600 — Where AMD RX 6000 Cards Rank In 2026 India

A 2020 Radeon beats a new RTX 5060.

All at 1080p. The 6800 XT sits at 275%, the 6800 at 233%, both past the new RTX 5060's 220%. Almost six years old, still ahead. Then the 6700 XT at 194%, itself past a 4060, the 6600 XT at 150%, and the 6600 at 135% — the only one I ever put on the board. No 6900 XT here, it gets measured at 4K.

Old Laptop Gaming 2026 — What Intel UHD 620 Runs: Valorant, Dota 2, Fortnite FPS India

The laptop you already own runs Valorant at 80.

Valorant 80, Dota 2 72, Rocket League 61, Fortnite 46 — all at 720p low, no graphics card. Apex gets 24 and Counter-Strike 2 only 20, which surprised me. Everyone assumes CS2 is the light one. A Vega 3 manages 29. An MX550 does Dota at 142.

₹90K to ₹7.5L Gaming PC Build Map India 2026 — 8600G iGPU to RTX 5090

I re-priced the whole ladder. The ₹50K PC isn't dying, it's dead.

Floor is ₹90K: an 8600G, no graphics card, ₹36K of it RAM. ₹1.4L buys a 7600X + RX 9060 XT. 32GB only earns it at ₹2.25L on a 7800X3D + 9070 XT. Then ₹3.25L for a 5080, ₹7.5L for a 5090, which is down 27% since July. Memory ate it.

Fake Prime Day GPU deals India 2026 — that 48% off RX 9060 XT isn't a real discount

That "48% OFF" GPU badge is measured against a price nobody paid.

Found a RX 9060 XT at ₹49,088, MRP ₹93,711 struck, "48% off." Same shelf it streets at ₹47,247. An honest MRP is ₹59,999. The ₹93,711 is fiction. You saved nothing, you paid market. Ignore strikethrough, check 2-3 sites.

Motherboard Tier List 2026 India — AMD B650 X870 vs Intel B760 Z890 ranked S to D

A ₹36K motherboard adds zero FPS. Where does yours rank?

A ₹11K B650 sits in S, above ₹22K B850 & ₹36K X870. On one GPU, PCIe 5.0 & USB4 add zero frames. Intel B860 ~₹10K, same. B760 still A: LGA1700, runs a 14700K at ₹15K. A620 costs more than B650, skip it. Put that ₹20K on the GPU.

B650 or B860? Did I rank X870 too low?
