China officially enters the GPU market… 🎮
A Chinese startup called Lisuan has revealed its new graphics card, the LX 7G100, priced at around $480, with promises of performance close to the RTX 4060.
However, independent benchmarks showed results that fell short of expectations.
📉 In Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, the card achieved only 88 FPS, while the RX 6600 XT reached 220 FPS under the same settings.
And in games like Forza Horizon 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, performance was around 30% weaker than the RTX 4060.
The issue isn’t just raw power — it’s also drivers and software optimization, the same challenge Intel faced for years with its Arc GPUs.
Even so, many believe that launching a Chinese gaming GPU capable of running modern games and receiving official Windows certification is still a major milestone for China 🇨🇳
Could China become a real competitor to NVIDIA and AMD in the coming years? 🤔
