ছোট করে নিন অডিও/ভিডিও ফাইলের আকার...

প্রথমে My Computer খুলে Tools থেকে Folder Options-এ গিয়ে View-তে ক্লিক করে Hide extensions for known file types বক্স থেকে টিক চিহ্ন তুলে দিয়ে ওকে করুন। এখন যে ফাইলটির মেমোরি কমাবেন (ভিডিও ফাইলের ক্ষেত্রে) সেটির ফাইল সিস্টেম যদি .dat হয় তাহলে Rename করে .dat-এর পরিবর্তে .mpg লিখে এন্টার চাপুন।
এখন Start থেকে All Programs-এ গিয়ে Windows Movie maker-এ ক্লিক করুন। তারপর Import video/Import Audio-তে ক্লিক করুন। নতুন যে উইন্ডো আসবে সেটির নিচে (ভিডিও ফাইলের ক্ষেত্রে) create clips for video files বক্স থেকে টিক চিহ্ন তুলে দিয়ে ব্রাউজ করে যে ফাইলটির মেমোরি কমাতে চান সেটি নির্বাচন করে Import-এ ক্লিক করুন। এখন ফাইলটিতে মাউস রেখে ডান বাটনে ক্লিক করে Add to Storyboard-এ ক্লিক করুন। এখন ওপরে File থেকে Save Movie File-এ ক্লিক করুন। নতুন উইন্ডো আসলে Next-এ ক্লিক করুন। তারপর আবার Next-এ ক্লিক করুন। এখন Show more choices-এ ক্লিক করে Other settings থেকে video for broadband (150 kbps) আর অডিও ফাইলের ক্ষেত্রে 32kbps নির্বাচন করে Next-এ ক্লিক করে কিছু সময় অপেক্ষা করুন। এখন My Documents থেকে My Videos-এ গিয়ে দেখবেন অডিও/ভিডিও ফাইলের মেমোরি সাইজ অনেক গুণ কমে গেছে।
