Beyond Borders: The KIFF 2025 Film Created by Genesis

Here’s the film we created at Genesis for the 31st Kolkata International Film Festival’s ‘Beyond Borders: Displacement & Migration’ section. The visuals and music are fully original, and this piece was screened as an intro before every film in the category. It brings together moments from this year’s powerful KIFF titles on war, displacement and intolerance, echoing Satyajit Ray’s reminder: “Tora juddho kore korbi ki ta bol?” (Tell me, what do you achieve by waging war?) The message from Festival Chairman Goutam Ghose remains clear… intolerance and conflict solve nothing.
