Which is most used programming language?
In 2021, JetBrains surveyed over 30,000 developers to learn about trends in software development and the preferences of developers. According to the State of Developer Ecosystem 2021 report, JavaScript is the most used programming language.

69% of respondents have used JavaScript in the last 12 months.
JavaScript is the primary language for 39% of respondents.
Python comes in a close second, with 52% of respondents having used Python in the last year and 29% of respondents identifying it as their primary language. Interestingly, Java is the primary language for 32% of respondents.
