The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organization's sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:
Responsibilities
Make cold calls for new business leads.
Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
Keep the prospective client database updated.
Should have sound knowledge of IT industry
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
Support in writing new business proposals.
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company products.
Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.
Explore and develop new business opportunities and understand clients' requirements and acquisitions.
Developing quotes and proposals. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
Must be good in sales, negotiations
Experience
0 - 1 Years (Preferred) as Business Development Executive.
Prior experience generating leads in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand markets for custom Web development
Hands-on experience in generating business via portals like Upwork, Freelancer, Peopleperhour, Guru, etc
Location: Kochi, Kerala
Work type: Remote and occasional meetups.
