C3ihub, IIT Kanpur C3iHub (Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for Cyber-Physical Systems) Innovation Hub is a Technology Translation Research Park (TTRP) at IIT Kanpur.

The C3i Hub aims to address the issue of cyber security of cyber-physical systems in its entirety. From analyzing security vulnerabilities and developing tools to address them at various levels of system architecture, to translating these tools to deployment-ready software, to nucleating start-ups developing these tools at scale, to partnering with industries in this domain and co-development and

transfer of these technologies, to training the next generation of cyber security researchers and professionals.

C3iHub, IIT Kanpur successfully concluded a two-day Immersion Program with Tata Motors on 10–11 August, bringing together 15 participants from diverse verticals and locations across Tata Motors.

The two-day program featured engaging training sessions, capstone presentations, and one-on-one doubt-clearing sessions with our expert trainers, creating an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding and connect theoretical concepts with practical applications.

This immersion program is a focused component of the larger six-month training program, comprising six comprehensive modules. With four modules successfully completed, the immersion served as both a recapitulation of the learnings so far and an opportunity to explore additional topics beyond the core curriculum—providing participants with broader context and a deeper understanding of the concepts covered.

At C3iHub, we remain committed to building industry-ready cybersecurity capabilities through practical, immersive, and knowledge-driven learning experiences.

We are thrilled to share the successful completion of the realme Cyber Suraksha Training Program, a specialized two-day initiative for about 50 dedicated police personnel of the Kanpur Cyber Cell. Each day featured insightful inaugural and valedictory sessions, bringing together key stakeholders, experts, and law enforcement officers committed to strengthening cyber resilience.

Tailored specifically to address the evolving challenges faced by law enforcement, the hands-on sessions covered crucial, highly requested topics: OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) and Network Traffic Analysis

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the 5-Day Residential Training Program on Microservices and DevOps (July 27 - July 31) for our 9th cohort of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) at C3iHub, IIT Kanpur.

​Over five intensive days, 28 participants engaged in comprehensive sessions blending theoretical architecture with extensive hands-on labs to master modern enterprise software delivery.

🔐C3iHub, IIT Kanpur concludes second cybersecurity cohort for Indian Army personnel

C3ihub, IIT Kanpur, the Technology Innovation Hub on Cybersecurity at IIT Kanpur, successfully completed the second cohort of its intensive cybersecurity training programme for personnel from the Indian Army’s Central Command.

The latest batch saw 70 Army personnel complete the 6-month hybrid certification programme, taking the total number of personnel trained by C3iHub to 140 across two cohorts.

The programme combines foundational cybersecurity training with advanced modules covering AI-driven security analytics, malware analysis, digital forensics, incident response, and Vulnerability Assessment and Pe*******on Testing (VAPT) through a structured hybrid learning model.

This initiative reflects the growing collaboration between C3iHub, IIT Kanpur and the Indian Army’s Central Command to strengthen India’s cyber defence capabilities through practice-oriented training and advanced skill development.
