C3ihub, IIT Kanpur C3iHub (Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for Cyber-Physical Systems) Innovation Hub is a Technology Translation Research Park (TTRP) at IIT Kanpur.

The C3i Hub aims to address the issue of cyber security of cyber-physical systems in its entirety. From analyzing security vulnerabilities and developing tools to address them at various levels of system architecture, to translating these tools to deployment-ready software, to nucleating start-ups developing these tools at scale, to partnering with industries in this domain and co-development and

transfer of these technologies, to training the next generation of cyber security researchers and professionals.

C3iHub in collaboration with Tata Motors Limited, has launched a first-of-its-kind industry-driven program on Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) & OT Cybersecurity.

This 7-month immersive engagement has been designed to bridge the critical gap between academic learning and real-world industrial practice. The program covers core OT systems, industrial communication protocols, evolving threat landscapes, security monitoring, and incident response โ€” all aligned with live manufacturing and operational environments.

At a time when securing industrial ecosystems and critical infrastructure is more important than ever, initiatives like these play a vital role in strengthening Indiaโ€™s OT cybersecurity capabilities, where it matters most โ€” on the plant floor.

This course marks the beginning of a highly impactful journey toward building the next generation of skilled professionals in CPS & OT Cybersecurity.

The platform was unveiled during the high-energy grand finale of HACK IITK, marking a new era for flexible, transparent, and impactful digital education.

The platform centers on a "Simple, Secure, Scalable" philosophy, providing a robust infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of modern digital innovation.

Day 2 brought together powerful ideas, insightful conversations, and inspiring leadership at the Grand Finale of HACK IITK 2026.

The day began with impactful keynote sessions by Dr. Gulshan Rai, Former National Cybersecurity Coordinator of India & Ex-DG CERT-In, followed by Dr. Bharat Panchal, Chief Risk & Regulatory Officer (APAC & Middle East), Capital One. Their insights set a strong tone around the evolving cybersecurity landscape and global risk outlook.

We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Mayur Maheshwari, IAS, MD of UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. & UP Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., along with Shri Rajiv Swarup, Former President, Shiv Nadar University & Senior Corporate Vice President, HCL Technologies โ€” adding immense value through their perspectives on governance, infrastructure, and innovation.

The day progressed into an engaging panel discussion on:

Participants from the Solution Track showcased their cutting-edge ideas and real-world cybersecurity solutions before an esteemed jury panel, demonstrating creativity, technical depth, and impact-driven thinking.

Meanwhile, the CTF Track kicked off with a thrilling 12-hour Capture The Flag challenge, pushing participants to test their skills, strategy, and resilience in real-time cybersecurity scenarios.

The Grand Finale of 2026 commenced on a high note with a prestigious inaugural session, bringing together distinguished leaders from academia, government, and industry to set the tone for an impactful two-day journey.

The ceremony was graced by Shri Binod Kumar Singh, IPS, Director General, Cyber Crime, UP Police , as the Chief Guest. Insightful addresses were delivered by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Scientist โ€˜Fโ€™, MeitY, Government of India, and Shri M.C. Balasubramaniam, CMD, Gliders India Limited , as Guests of Honour.

We were also privileged by the presence of Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director IIT Kanpur along with Prof. Somitra Sanadhya, Program Director, C3iHub, and Dr. Tanima Hajra, CEO, C3iHub.

The session highlighted the urgent need for indigenous cybersecurity solutions to safeguard Indiaโ€™s critical infrastructure and strengthen digital resilience.

The day continued with engaging knowledge sessions, including an invited talk by Prof. MAKP Singh (IIT Kanpur), followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion on:
