There are many questions in the minds of users of Battery operated lift inverters.
The major question is what is VVVF or V3F drive and how is it is useful for them?

In today's session, I have tried to give information about v3f drive or more precisely Variable Voltage Variable Frequency Drive in a simple language.

What is a Variable voltage variable Frequency drive?
A Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) drive is a type of motor controller used to regulate the speed and torque of an elevator motor. It works by adjusting both the voltage and frequency of the electrical power supplied to the motor. Today, we installed a lift inverter at one society at Shivaji Chowk, Kalyan.
It is 8KVA/ 96 Volts and suitable for the small lift suitable up to 7 floors.
It gives me immense pleasure when, during a power failure people can go up and down without interruption.
