Suggestions/Posts regarding electronics & comm. It was in the year 1923 that a Section of Electrical Communication Engineering in the Department of Electrical Technology came into being. Between 1925 and 1929 several investigations relating to wireless communication were taken up for the first time in the country in the Wireless Laboratory, which was renamed as the Electrical Communication Engineering Laboratory in 1928.
