The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and China UnionPay.

Private label cards – those which aren't part of a major card scheme – are not included in the scope of the PCI DSS.

The PCI Standard is mandated by the card brands and administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure.

#4-D technology allows self-folding of complex objects

Using components made from smart shape-memory materials with slightly different responses to heat, researchers have demonstrated a four-dimensional printing technology that allowed creation of complex self-folding structures.

The research creates self-folding structures from 3-D printed patterns containing varying amounts of different smart shape-memory polymers. The patterning, done with a 3-D printer, allows the resulting flat components to have varying temporal response to the same stimuli

Potentially dangerous vulnerability has reportedly been disclosed in the Google's mobile operating system platform – Android.
his time the issue resides in the multitasking capability of the Android phones, the ability to run more than one app at a time.

The security flaw gives hacker ability to spy on Android smartphone owners, steal login credentials, install malware, and many more, according to the latest research conducted by the researchers

?

According to security researchers, the flaw could be exploited to lure the victim into unwittingly handing over their login details into a spoofed user interface, controlled by a hacker, when an Android user starts an app.

The device owner won't at all be aware that they are typing their sensitive details into a malicious software program masquerading as a legit Android app.

7 Tools Every Hacker Must Possess !!

Here are some interesting tools for developers that are available for free. ..

It takes a lot of effort and some very good coding skills to develop hacking tools that are meant for easing out various complex tasks, which if done manually will consume lots of energy and effort. These tools are available for free and are either being actively developed by community or their alternatives are provided. To sum it up, here are top 7 tools every hacker must possess.

Nmap

Most hackers are aware of Nmap (Network Mapper) as a free open source utility for network exploration or security auditing. It helps in swiftly scanning large networks, Majority of systems and network administrators find this utility helpful to perform tasks related to network inventory, managing service upgrade schedules, and monitoring host or service uptime.

Nmap can run on different types of computers and both console and graphical versions are available. Not only Nmap is free, but is open source too. The tool can be useful for beginners (-sT) or by pros (packet_trace). In short, an extremely versatile tool, once you completely comprehend the results.

Nessus Remote Security Scanner

Earlier, Nessus was open source, but it’s still free. The tool works with a client-server framework. It is in fact the world’s most popular vulnerability scanner used by over 75,000 organizations across the world. Several leading organizations could realize major cost savings with the help of Nessus.

Wireshark

It is a GTK+-based Wiresharknetwork protocol analyzer, or sniffer, that allows you to describe and browse the contents of network frames. It aims at creating commercial-quality analyzer for Unix and to lend Wireshark those features which are missing from closed-source sniffers. The tool runs perfectly on both Linux and Windows and is easy to use. Moreover, it can rebuild TCP/IP Streams!

Cain and Abel

Often referred to as the Swiss knife of hacking tools, Cain & Abel is actually a password recovery tool used for Microsoft OS. It allows users to easily recover different types of passwords by sniffing the network, breaking encrypted passwords with the help of Dictionary, Brute-Force and Cryptanalysis attacks. It also helps in recording VoIP conversations, decoding twisted passwords, edifying password boxes, revealing cached passwords and analyzing routing protocols. The tool does not use any software vulnerabilities or bugs which are difficult to fix with little effort.

Kismet

Kismet refers to an 802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and infringement detection system. The tool works with any wireless card that supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode and can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g traffic. It is a good wireless tool if your card supports rfmon

NetStumbler

Here comes a reasonable wireless tool for Windows! However, it’s not as strong as its Linux counterparts, but is simple and features a NetStumbler nice interface. It is good for the basics of war-driving. NetStumbler is actually a tool for Windows OS that lets you to identify Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) with the help of 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g.

SuperScan

SuperScan is a powerful TCP port scanner, pinger, and resolver. It is an update of most famous Windows port scanning tool, SuperScan. Those looking for a substitute for nmap on Windows with a decent interface, can check out this tool.

Thankxx !! Insecure :)

To Get Windows XP Security Updates Until April 2019... :)

Microsoft's official support for the Windows XP operating system ended more than a month ago. While some companies and organizations are still receiving updates for the operating system, end users do not.
These companies pay Microsoft for that, usually because they were not able or willed to migrate computer's running Windows XP to another operating system before the extended support phase for the system ended. There is another exception to the end of support rule:
Windows Embedded Industry, formerly known as Windows Embedded POSReady, operating systems continue to receive updates. What makes this interesting is the fact that Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 is based on Windows XP Service Pack 3, and that the security updates released for that system are identical with the ones that Microsoft would have released for XP systems.
The extended support for Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 systems ends on April 9th, 2019 which means that you can use the trick to get another five years of security patches for XP

What you cannot do is go ahead and install those updates as you will get a version mismatch error when you try to do so. There is however a trick that you can use to bypass those checks so that you can install those updates on your version of Windows XP. Note: The trick works only for 32-bit versions of Windows XP SP3 and not 64-bit versions. While POSReady systems are very similar to Windows XP systems, it is recommended to back up the system before you make any changes as differences between the systems may result in issues after installing updates designed for it. All you need to do is add the following to the Windows XP Registry:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\PosReady] "Installed"=dword:00000001

If you prefer to create one on your own do the following:
1.Create a new plain text document.
2.Paste the contents above into it.
3.Save the new document as xp.reg.
4.Double-click the Registry file afterwards to add the contents to the Registry.

How to share Wi-Fi in Windows 8/8.1 with Internet connection sharing... Making your laptop a portable Hotspot :v :)

This step-by- guide explains how to share your internet with Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and turn a Windows 8 computer into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Whenever I want to share an Internet connection through Wi-Fi and turn my Windows machine in Wi-FI access point,
I find myself googling again because I somehow can’t memorize the procedure. Google is a great brain extension for people with a bad memory like me.

However, in this case, it always leads to frustration because many guides about Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) are incomplete, describe the procedure in the wrong order, or confuse different Windows versions. I wonder if all those how-to bloggers out there just copy from one another or if anyone actually tried their Wi-Fi sharing step-by-step guide.

With Windows 8, things got worse. The forums are full of posts of frustrated users who just can’t connect to their Windows 8 Access Point. This is probably due to the fact that things are a bit different than in Windows 7, and many how-to bloggers just re-posted their old articles with a new heading. (I didn’t verify this and, as mentioned above, I only remember roughly how it worked in Windows 7.)

1. Launch a command prompt with administrator privileges. (Type cmd on the Start Screen, right-click the icon, and click Run as Administrator.)

2. Type netsh wlan show drivers and verify if Hosted network supported says Yes. If it saysNo, you are done. Your NIC doesn’t support Wi-Fi sharing.

3.Type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Hotspot key=12345678. (Note that you can replace “Hotspot” and the security key with your favorite settings.)

4.Type netsh wlan start hostednetwork.

5.Open the Network and Sharing Center in the Control Panel. (Type Control Panel on the Start Screen and then Network in the Control Panel search box.) Then, click Change adapter settings.

6. Now comes the part that appears to be different in Windows 8 than in previous Windows versions. You will notice that a new network adapter appeared, called Local Area Network Connection, followed by a number that can be different from computer to computer. The device name is Microsoft Hosted Virtual Network Adapter. The ssid you used above (Hotspot in this guide) will appear under the name. If you see Identifying under its icon or just Enabled, be patient and wait until Hotspot (the ssid is used in step 3) appears.

7.Right-click the network adapter that is connected to the Internet and select Properties. (This can be an Ethernet adapter, a mobile network adapter, or your phone that is connected through USB. In this guide, it is my Samsung phone.)

8.Click the Sharing tab and then enable Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.

9.In Windows 7, if I remember it right (correct me if I’m wrong), you would have selected the Wi-Fi adapter under Home Networking Connection. If you do this in Windows 8, you will be able to establish a Wi-Fi connection to your Windows 8 Access Point, but your client won’t receive an IP address through the Windows 8 DHCP server. Thus you have to select theLocal Area Network Connection adapter I mentioned in step 6 as your Home Networking Connection....
