The Center for Innovation was founded on 25 October 2013 based on the phenomenal success of the 'Engineering the Eye' workshop conducted the same year jointly by the L.V.Prasad Eye Institute and the camera culture group at the MIT Media Lab. The LVP-MITRA Program is an initiative to inspire students, the next generation of innovators, to work on the tough problems in healthcare diagnostics to impa
