Some stories don’t just inspire you — they redefine how you think about purpose. We recently had the privilege of engaging with 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥, Founder of 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — a man who turned a near-death experience at 19 into a life dedicated to serving those society often forgets.

What started with helping one elderly woman on the streets of Hyderabad has grown into something extraordinary:

That was the powerful takeaway from our latest 𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐏 energytec.ai session featuring Uma Sudhir — one of India’s most respected journalists and storytellers.

With nearly three decades of fearless journalism, Uma has reported from the heart of some of the country’s most defining moments. Her work has been recognised with the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, and multiple 𝗨𝗡𝗙𝗣𝗔 𝗟𝗮𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 — honours that reflect journalism driven by courage, credibility, and purpose.

During the session, as the discussion turned to the world of 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, she shared an insight that resonated deeply with our technology teams:

Drawing from a remarkable journey that spans the 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗲𝗿𝗮, Uma spoke about navigating constant change — in media, technology, and life itself.

• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 — the same reality can inspire fear or hope depending on the story we choose to tell
• 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀, what truly matters are relationships, health, perspective, and joy
