Job Title: 3D Artist

Our company is currently seeking a talented and passionate 3D Artist to join our team. As a 3D Artist, you will work closely with our creative team to create high-quality 3D models and animations for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and animations for use in video games, virtual reality experiences, and other interactive media.
• Work with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other artists and designers to ensure that all assets are consistent with the project’s visual style.
• Meet project deadlines and ensure that all work is of the highest quality.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, Blender, and/or 3ds Max.
• Demonstrated experience in creating 3D models and animations for use in video games, virtual reality experiences, or other interactive media.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with rigging and animation of characters and creatures.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation skills.

A 3D animator and some Interesting Facts about 3D Animation:

Well come back to 3DMorpherR once again. In previous post we shared basic idea, work and service 3DMorpheR provide.
We got many review saying make it more interesting with facts and technology and why the change is comming in flow.
Now this post will tell some very interesting facts and let you know the technology behind 3D animation, Please follow us :).

3-D animation technicians create 3-D animated images and models using their artistic skills and computer design software.
An animator is always involved in meeting with clients to review design proposals and incorporate changes into the design to meet the client's expectations.
Their job may also involve some research. If they're animating an animal or object they may study the source to gain insight into how to develop the animated design.

Lets go through some very interesting facts about 3D Animation;

1. It’s much older than you think

The very first signs of 3D animation were seen way back in 1600 BC
when Egyptian pharaoh Ramses-II built a unique 110 column temple wherein each pillar had the picture of the goddess.
But the big difference was that the sculptures were able to repeat the images slowly yet progressively so that it appeared as if the goddess was in motion.

2. We saw it first in 1982

3D animation was first used in motion pictures in 1982 in the film “Tron”.
The first use of 3d animation in a music video was by the Dire Straits in their video for the hit “Money for Nothing”.

3. The Greeks had decoded the secret

Before we learnt about the various software programs
the Greeks used simple spinning pots to reveal the marvel of 3D animation.
In fact, not only Greece, archeologists have unearthed similar creations from Middle Eastern countries like Iran as well.

4. Tom and Jerry were originally called Jasper and Jinx

5. Toy Story started it all

One of the first 3D animation movies to hit the cinema halls was the much loved blockbuster Toy Story.

6. Students would have made it

Though Toy Story went down in history as the first full animated 3D film,
there was a bunch of students in the New York Institute of Technology working on similar lines with their production titled The Works which could have come before Toy Story.
However, the lack of budgets forced them to scrap the idea and the credit went to Toy Story.

7. Frozen won Disney its first Oscar since Tarzan. The scene where Elsa walks out on her ice palace’s balcony took 132 hours to complete 218 frames and was the film’s longest frame to animate.

8. The first cartoon character to appear on a postage stamp was Bugs Bunny

9. It can be a tiring job

Sometimes the animated movies are so complex that a single shoot can take almost 90 hours with one computer working overtime to translate the captured motion into a single image.

10. Avatar was conceptualized in 1996 and released 2009

The award winning 3D animation movie Avatar was started way back in 1996 but had to be stopped mid-way
because the existing technology was unable to satiate the creative requirements of the director. Amazing, isn’t it?
