Trying to replicate what Immertive is doing in Medicine - for Agriculture Education!

We were invited as experts to conduct a session on "Immersive Technologies in Education" for faculty members of Agriculture and Veterinary sciences from various Universities across India. This was part of a Digital Extension workshop at NAARM.

The session was followed by a visit to a Virtual Reality Lab for hands-on and headset-on experiencing!

In India, cervical cancer contributes to approximately 6–29% of all cancers in women. The VIA Test is a recognized screening method at the primary care level. It takes much experience to recognize and appreciate the changes in the cervix

Experience:
This VR experience helps a nurse learn about the equipment, do the procedure several times over and recognize normal cervix from changes that reflect cancer. Includes real clinical colposcopy image data.

Role: Primary responsibility will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and 3D/UI assets as per storyboard requirements into a functional and engaging experiences.

Requirements:
Knowledge
· Game Development using Unity 3D.
· Animation graphics – game optimized 3D models, textures, Unity lighting systems and mechanisms of game physics.
· Development process from storyboard to completion.
· Optimization – memory, space usage.

Skills
· Unity 3D programming and C # scripting.
· Backend technology Unity integration – with databases and API’s, user session management.

Attitude
· Leadership qualities - ability to translate any design into a working product with minimal supervision.
· Teamwork – working with Doctors, Animators & Game Artists.
· Innovative – creative ability to think out of the box.

Preferred Experience:
· Created IOT and ML applications with Unity.
· Developed VR applications for Oculus Quest.
