India depended once.

In 1963, the parts for India's first rocket were carried to the launch pad on a bicycle. Sixty years later, that same programme landed near the moon's south pole. No country had done it before.

That is the distance this country has travelled.

A nation that once imported grain now feeds the world. One that once waited for vaccines now makes more doses than anyone on earth. And the payment system a billion of us use daily was built right here.

Not anymore.
