A small traditional bakery near Denkanikottai in the Hosur region has been serving customers with old-style baked products for nearly 60 years.

Located near the Bettarayaswamy Temple arch at the Anchetty–Panchapalli Dam Road junction, the bakery still prepares bread, buns and biscuits using wood and coke-fired ovens.

Its signature products include:
🥖 Masala Bun with potato filling
🥯 Sweet-and-salty Kara Bun
🍪 Crispy coconut biscuits

The bakery is run by 70-year-old Selvaraj, a Gandhian known for always wearing a Gandhi cap.

There are no bright lights, fancy interiors or even a name board — but locals say the taste itself keeps customers coming back.

Revenue department officials demolished 33 allegedly encroached houses near Hosur under heavy police security during a land recovery operation.

The action took place at Muneeswarar Nagar near Bagalur, where authorities stated that government poramboke land had been occupied and houses constructed illegally.

12 Kg G***a Seized Near Hosur; One Arrested After Police Check 🚨

Police near Hosur seized 12 kilograms of g***a during a vehicle inspection at the Kothaseegur border checkpost under Mathigiri police limits.

Officials stated that three persons arrived on a scooter without a registration number plate. During inspection, police allegedly found that the g***a was being transported from Aanaikal for sale in Byramangala.

Two suspects reportedly escaped, while one accused identified as Srinivasan from Byramangala was arrested.
