Today, the world is witnessing a steady rise in the number of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), driven by multiple social, demographic and health-related factors. This growing and diverse community includes people with both visible and invisible disabilities across all age groups.

Recognising the urgency of these emerging challenges, CompanyCSR, a leading CSR and sustainability news portal, is launching a special series featuring news, case studies, events, interviews and success stories highlighting champions of change working in the areas of inclusion, disability rights, policy advocacy, strategic & sustainable CSR practices and assistive technology (AT).

The initiative will also showcase young startups, innovators and technology-driven solutions that are addressing barriers faced by PwDs and functional impairments (Divyangjan), while helping sensitise society and promote a more inclusive and equitable ecosystem.
