And our robust Q1 financial results reflect our efforts to create a world with next-generation connected experiences. Some highlights from Q1 - FY' 22 are:

- Rs. 112 bn order book
- Rs. 13.09 bn revenue (49% YoY growth)

Our Q1 financial results are in, and they’re looking healthy. 💪

STL has clocked a revenue of Rs. 13.09 billion in Q1 - FY’ 22, a 49% YoY growth over Q1 - FY’ 21. Our progress builds on the back of our three growth levers:

- Globalise system integration
- Grow optical business, and
- Build disruptive wireless solutions

Our mission can be seen in action in our acquisition for Network Integration capabilities in Europe and investments in UK and US to augment local presence in optical fibre.

Importantly, we have preserved a strong ESG focus, positively impacting over 180,000 lives with our CSR initiatives.

If internet speed were an Olympic sport, Japan just won gold! 🥇

Engineers at Japan's National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT) have pulled off the incredible feat of reaching a data transfer speed of 319 terabytes per second over a distance of 3,000 km.

In doing so, they have raced past the old record held at 178 Tb/s using 4-core optical fibre to transfer data using light instead of traditional copper cables.

What’s exciting is that this fibre arrangement can be cabled with existing equipment, which means that our home WiFi could support this tech soon!
