AppPress:
All modern browsers provide a limited set of controls based on which all web applications are developed. Using this as a hard limit, AppPress defines a page as a set of forms, each form is a set of UI elements. Inside a page forms can be nested and aggregated to any level with form containers. Based on Page Definition AppPress automatically creates c # class definitions which are used in writing the back-end business logic. AppPress also generates a default html skin for the page. Users can modify the skin for custom design. AppPress run-time connects the front end to the back-end logic and also provides generic functions to manage page life cycle (Navigation, Field Level Refresh, Grid Management, Save to Database, Security).
AppPress streamlines the development process by segregating UX, UI and business logic development. Using AppPress for core functionality development client side programming is not needed as that is handled by AppPress run-time.

QA Mates:
QA Mates provides a library using .Net which a tester can use to write each step action in a single line of code. The selenium and browser quirks are handled within the library. This library also provides predefined step actions which extract aggregate data from browser (like grid or html table), making it easier to automate business applications with complex business logic.
