Strong alliances can be potential catapults. While the grimness of this pandemic has been offset by the myriad of “new normals” that it has brought to life, for businesses, it has begun a promising thought experimentation of exploring synergies together, especially for the ones working towards a common goal.

Taking a cue from this, proud to share that Doxper is now merging with Meddo, India’s first and largest physical-digital outpatient care platform. This partnership between two path-breakers enables great opportunities and a very seamless elevated experience for all stakeholders resulting in better healthcare outcomes.

Here’s to new beginnings and transformative journeys!

Cheers,

Interesting perspective. During the pandemic, we have designated frontline, customer facing or entry level jobs as 'essential', yet we continue to unwittingly demean / devalue these jobs by labelling them 'low-skill'. It's time to update our day to day and policy language alongside our understanding and appreciation.

Important distinction as quoted and explained further in the article: "The terms low-skill worker and low-skill job are conflated, for one, though those are very different charges."

The label “low-skill” flattens workers to a single attribute, ignoring the capacities they have and devaluing the jobs they do.

Great article showing how 'routine' real world data can be quickly and creatively used to validate treatments and change the course of a pandemic, and even for slow burn NCDs like cancer, that may not appear as urgent now.

For countries and health systems to similarly benefit from such capabilities, systematic, strategic investment in digitisation and EMR standards needs to happen immediately, and not as a knee jerk, ad-hoc reaction.

“RECOVERY has shown us that the combination of a simple coin toss plus the richness and scale of routine health-care data, can provide rapid, compelling, and widely applicable results, distinguishing clearly between those treatments that genuinely benefit patients and those that do not.”

The RECOVERY trial sets a new standard in clinical trials, the challenge now is to make it business as usual. Becky McCall reports.
