सनातन धर्म में महाशिवरात्रि (Mahashivratri 2022) का विशेष महत्व है. इस दिन भगवान शिव (Lord Shiva) और मां पार्वती (Maa Parvati) की पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है. इस बार महाशिवरात्रि का पर्व 1 मार्च के दिन पड़ रहा है. शिव भक्त इस दिन सुबह उठकर स्नान आदि करके भगवान को जल अर्पित करते हैं. इस दिन भगवान शिव के लिए व्रत रखा जाता है. भोलेनाथ की पूजा के बाद मंत्र (Shivratri Mantra Jaap) जाप और आरती की जाती है. मान्यता है कि इस दिन भगवान शिव की पूजा करने से भक्तों के सभी दुख दूर होते हैं और मनचाही इच्छापूर्ति का वरदान मिलता है.
