If a counterfeit can carry the same code as your genuine product, is that really product authentication?

This is a question we kept coming back to at ARVO.

A conventional QR or printed security code can look sophisticated, but the underlying problem remains: what is printed can potentially be photographed, reproduced and placed on another product.

That means a counterfeit product may carry the same visible code and still receive the same verification result.

We built ARVO NOVA Code to solve that problem differently.

NOVA Code is impossible to reproduce through a photograph, photocopy or ordinary reprinting because its authentication depends on a physical security property, not simply on the information visible in the code.
