PHP/LAMP Software Engineer - (Core PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel)

Job Summary :
- In the role of PHP Software Engineer, you will be part of our Technology Team, providing planning and development of projects of various scale, form, and duration, utilizing your expert knowledge of LAMP and MySQL.
- We're looking for a PHP Software Engineer with a proven track record for creating efficient, scalable, and manageable enterprise-level systems using open source technologies.
- The right individual for this role will keep up to date with new and emerging technologies while sharing that knowledge with the team, contributing to an environment built innovation. Extra attention will be given for individuals with HTML5, Linux, and any knowledge of Blog Platforms and/or any social media enabling media integration and scalability with business solutions.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2-3 years experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache,
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and 3rd party platforms and libraries, and Social Networks (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) enabling social media integration and scalability
- Working knowledge of PHP frameworks - CodeIgniter, Laravel, and CMS such as - WordPress.
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript with and without frameworks like jQuery.
- Solid troubleshooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies
- Able to stay ahead with new and emerging technologies
- Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. Bonus Skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Efficient in written and oral communication skills who can help prepare for meetings with clients.
