♻️If you compare a laptop and desktop at the same price, then you will get better performance and more specifications in computer desktop.
There is a lot of trouble in picking one of the laptops or desktops. We have no idea what we should choose from desktop 🆚 laptop as both work well, both have advantages.

If you want to choose one of the laptops or computers for office, school, or college work, then you choose laptop because laptops are less in size and also very less in weight. Because of which you can carry such comfort. But the weight of the desktop is very large and the size is large, due to which you cannot move at all during the traveling.
If you want to do heavy work like video editing gaming from home, then without thinking you should make a good desktop. Because the desktop is better than a laptop for heavy work, it does not heat up very quickly and cools down too quickly.

🖥️You can very easily change all components in your desktop such as graphic card, keyboard, mouse, RAM, hard disk, memory, processor as per your choice.
💻But on a laptop, it is very difficult to change or modify all the components. On a laptop, we can change the RAM and the hard drive, and it is also that on some laptops we cannot change the RAM, graphic card.

💰You get to see a very wide variety of desktops as you can install any component in it as you wish, and you get a good variety in a laptop, but if you look against the desktop there is a slight variation in the laptop.
💰If we compare desktop 🆚 laptop that have the same specifications, ie the same RAM, the same processor, the same graphic card, the same storage, we see that in most cases the price of the laptop is always higher.
✔️Portability:-
We all know that the size of the desktop is very large and they are also very heavy due to which we cannot carry it while traveling and in the desktop, we get a monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse separately due to which the desktop Size is large and they are heavy.
But the size of the laptop is small and they are light in weight due to which we can carry laptops very easily while traveling.

🖥️In the desktop, you can use any size screen (monitor), but this feature is not available on the laptop.
💻 Laptop cannot change the screen size of the laptop and have to be satisfied with the screen size available with the laptop.
✔️Weight:-
The desktop weight a lot more than a laptop. This is because in the desktop we get a separate monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse, PSU and they weight a lot, due to which the weight of the entire desktop is much higher.
✔️Storage:-
The desktop CPU size is very large, due to which you can put a lot of hard drives in the desktop of the desktop. You cannot do this on a laptop because there is limited space in the laptop, but in both laptop and desktop, you can easily use the external hard drives.
✔️Gaming:-
🖥️Desktops are capable of using high-powered video cards that have higher power requirements and require better heat reduction/dissipation. Due to the space in a desktop and the capability of using 1000+ Watt power supplies, virtually any video card could be used in a desktop, including two or more video cards at the same time.
💻Physical space is limited in a laptop, which can limit the graphics capabilities. While higher-end laptops can provide better than average graphics for gaming and CAD-based applications, the heat reduction/dissipation is limited by the space in the laptop case. Power is also limited which doesn't allow for video cards needing those higher amounts of wattage to run.
⭕In the end, I want to say that it depends on you what you want to hear from a laptop or computer. After finding the main purpose, it becomes very easy to choose between laptops and desktops.
If you work from home and your work is like video editing or games, then you use the desktop.
But if you are a student, go to college or go to school, use a laptop because you can move the laptop very easily and all your tasks will be done on the laptop easily.
