Hand Prayer (Kara Darshanam)
At the tip of my hands resides Goddess Lakshmi,
In the middle resides Goddess Saraswati,
At the base resides Lord Govinda.
Therefore, I behold my hands in the morning.
Prayer Seeking Forgiveness from Mother Earth
O Goddess Earth, clothed by the oceans and adorned with mountains,
Consort of Lord Vishnu, I bow to you.
Please forgive me for touching you with my feet.
Remembrance of the Trinity and the Nine Planets
May Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury,
Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu
Bless me with a good morning.
Bathing Mantra
O Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswati,
Narmada, Sindhu, and Kaveri,
Please be present in this water.
Surya Namaskar (Salutation to the Sun)
Those who daily offer salutations to the Sun God
Gain long life, strength, vitality,
And freedom from disease and sorrow.

Lamp Prayer (Deepa Darshan)
I bow to the lamp that brings auspiciousness, well-being, health, and prosperity,
And destroys evil thoughts.
The lamp is the Supreme Brahman,
The lamp is Lord Janardana.
May this sacred lamp remove my sins.
Ganapati Stotra
Salutations to Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles,
The elephant-faced one, the son of Goddess Gauri.
Meditating upon the white-robed, moon-like, four-armed Lord Ganesha
Removes all obstacles.
Adi Shakti Prayer
O Divine Mother, source of all auspiciousness,
Bestower of all accomplishments,
O Gauri, O Narayani, I bow to you.
Shiva Stuti
I bow to Lord Shiva, fair as camphor,
Embodiment of compassion,
Essence of the universe, adorned with serpents,
Ever residing in the lotus of the heart with Mother Bhavani.
Vishnu Stuti
I bow to Lord Vishnu,
Who reclines upon the serpent,
Whose navel bears the lotus,
Who is the support of the universe and remover of worldly fear.
Shri Krishna Stuti
Adorned with musk on His forehead,
The Kaustubha gem on His chest,
A flute in His hand and sandalwood on His body,
Victory to Lord Krishna, the crown jewel of cowherds.
By whose grace the mute become eloquent
And the lame cross mountains,
I bow to Lord Madhava.
Shri Rama Vandana
I surrender to Lord Rama,
Beloved of all, brave in battle, lotus-eyed,
Embodiment of compassion and mercy.
Shri Ramashtakam
O Rama, Supreme Person; O Narayana; O Keshava;
O Govinda, O Madhava, protector of all beings,
Please protect me.
One-Verse Ramayana
Rama's exile to the forest,
The golden deer, Sita's abduction, Jatayu's sacrifice,
Friendship with Sugriva, defeat of Vali, crossing the ocean, burning Lanka,
And finally the destruction of Ravana and KumbhakarnaтАФ
This is the essence of the Ramayana.
Saraswati Vandana
May Goddess Saraswati,
Clad in white garments, seated on a white lotus,
Holding the Veena, worshipped by the gods,
Remove all ignorance and bless me with wisdom.
Hanuman Vandana
I bow to Lord Hanuman,
Abode of immense strength, wisdom, and virtue,
Beloved devotee of Lord Rama.
Swift as the mind and wind,
Master of the senses and foremost among the wise,
I seek refuge in Lord Hanuman.
Swasti Vachan (Prayer for Well-being)
May Indra grant us welfare,
May the all-knowing Sun bless us,
May Garuda protect us,
And may Brihaspati bestow prosperity.
Shanti Path (Peace Prayer)
That is Complete; this is Complete.
From the Complete arises the Complete.
Even after taking the Complete from the Complete,
The Complete alone remains.
May there be peace in the heavens,
Peace in the atmosphere,
Peace on Earth,
Peace in the waters, herbs, and plants,
Peace among all beings.
