The role of teachers in building society

(A message addressed to teachers on Teachers' Day)
The teacher is the source of knowledge. The role of teachers is important in the construction and development of nations. No one has ever denied the role of teachers in the construction of humanity and scientific evolution. From the very beginning, the teacher has been at the forefront of the education system. He enjoys training his students like a gardener is always looking after his plants. Teaching is a profession that has a prominent place not only in Islam but in every religion and society in the world. But it is a universal fact that the world of knowledge has never revealed the true value of the teacher in the same way that Islam has made human beings aware of the high status of the teacher. Islam has given immense honor and respect to the teacher. Allah, the Exalted, has mentioned in the Qur'an the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a teacher. Has been elevated to a high position of worldly honor and respect. In Islam, the status of a teacher is very high. Islam has given the status of spiritual father to the teacher because he is a teacher and mentor. He said, Amir al-mu'minin Hazrat Umar was asked that in spite of being the caliph of such a large Islamic state, there is still a longing in his heart. He said, "I wish I had a teacher." Mohsin. Bab-ul-Alam Khalifa IV Hazrat Ali's words indicate the greatness of the teacher. Whether he sells me, frees me or enslaves me. ”The poet and Islamic thinker Allama Iqbal describes the greatness of the teacher as follows. It is the responsibility of the teachers of the country to perform the highest level of hard work and performance. The duty of a teacher is more difficult and important than all other duties. The key to religious virtues is in her hands and the source of all development is her hard work. ” A teacher has been given the status of a spiritual father because of his power to make the whole universe a school for the child. Always urges to move forward. Someone asked Alexander the Great why he respects his teacher so much. Alexander the Great said that his parents sent him from heaven. Yen is brought to him while the teacher takes him from the earth to the heights of the heavens. Ptolemy describes the glory of the teacher as follows:
Other aspects of teaching relate to life; All professions of life are born from the womb of teaching. Any field of life be it judiciary, army, politics, bureaucracy, health, culture, education or journalism all reflect the abilities of a teacher. If there is justice, balance and harmony in these areas, then it is a reflection of the teachings of good teachers. The mouth becomes a talking picture. The teacher has been given the title of the architect of the nation for his key role in building a just society. As well as being the custodian of the noble values of society, the teacher is also a means of transmitting those values to future generations. If even the slightest mistake is made by the teachers in the discharge of their duties then the foundations of the society are shattered and the society becomes a picture of animalism, selfishness and self-interest and presents a model of hell. Education covers all aspects of human life and It helps a person to become an active and important part of the society. Due to the fulfillment of the duties of person making, the teacher must be given his place in the society. And the importance of the teacher in every society and religion requires the teachers to present themselves as a role model. Imam Azam Abu Hanifa His dear disciple Hazrat Imam Yusuf (AS) asked, "How is a teacher?" He said, "Look carefully when the teacher is teaching the children. If he is teaching as if he is teaching his children, then he is a teacher. If he is teaching the children of the people, then he is not a teacher." In the light of this statement, if teachers are tested, we will see the dominance of materialism in the society. The teacher is the promoter of moral values in the society, but it is a pity that today this profession Has almost lost. The teaching profession today is limited to just one job, scale and promotion. The sacred relationship between teacher and student is lost somewhere. The history of the world has witnessed the rise and development of a nation that valued its teachers. The famous Pakistani writer, intellectual and educator Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Sahib was challaned for violating traffic law while performing his teaching services in Italy. When the judge found out the reason for the delay in the payment of the challan, Ashfaq Ahmed said that he was a teacher and was unable to pay the challan on time due to his teaching activities. Stay When the judge found out that he was a teacher, he stood up respectfully from his chair and said with surprise and admiration, "A teacher in the court", saying that he forgave his challan. In Italy, too, the salaries of teachers are not as attractive as in our homeland, but even today all ranks of judges, bureaucrats, businessmen, police, politicians, etc., follow the teacher as slaves in the past followed their masters. This reverence for the teacher is the story of the rise of Western society. On the other hand, the eastern societies which were on the rise due to the literature and respect of the teachers seem to be declining due to the objections of the literature and respect of the teachers. It should be noted that teachers do not have their own needs. As teachers are the key to the formation and deterioration of society in the hands of teachers, their position is prominent and high. He also wants them not to get their hands dirty like the rest of the world in the lure of benefits and privileges.
Teacher Responsibilities The teacher plays an important role in the training of the new generation. In every nation and religion, the teacher is important because of the greatness of his profession. The teacher not only imparts knowledge of various sciences and arts to the students but also The people who are in charge of the society, regardless of their field or profession, are a reflection of their teacher's training. The important and basic duty of a teacher is humanization. Curriculum and the impact of educational institutions are also included but it is an undeniable fact that the center and axis of the entire education system is a teacher. Ordinary teachers have a double responsibility because he is a Muslim first and a madrassa second. According to Islamic philosophy, a teacher is a mentor, a joker, a leader and a guide. Which not only trains the new generation but also connects the new generation with Islamic ideology and Islamic educational ideology. Because without ideology, any nation becomes a collection of untrained people without love. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) made a strong promise to the Muslim teachers: In the light of this edict of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), if Muslim teachers are even negligent in performing their duties, they will be severely reprimanded on the Day of Resurrection. On the Day of Judgment, unfavorable conditions, lack of material resources, inattention of parents and students and other excuses will not be of any use to Muslim teachers. First of all, he is a Muslim and then he is a teacher, mentor and leader who prepares the new generation for the implementation of Islamic society and religion of nature. Even in unfavorable conditions, the intention of Muslim teachers is the Islamic education and training of the new generation. There are four practical fields for those involved in the teaching profession. Personality and character building and (4) school and teacher.
Building caste: It is necessary for the teacher who is working to build a new generation to build his own caste first. For the students, the caste of the teacher is a high standard of thoughts and values. Keep in mind the caste of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The pure caste of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the best example for every human being. You are the great teacher. Must follow goodness. When the heart of a teacher is filled with the greatness and majesty of the true Lord, obeys the commands of God and acts on the Sunnah of the Prophet, then his teaching will become a blessing for the students and a harbinger of life. It is very important to be good-natured, gentle, kind-hearted, sociable, compassionate, compassionate, sad and kind and helpful. The purpose of acquiring knowledge from God is self-awareness and God-awareness is always attached to the minds of teachers. Do not consider the promotion and teaching of knowledge as a means of livelihood Use it to build morals and build character. The knowledge (ideas, culture, beliefs, ideas, habits, trends, and traits) inherited from a true teacher of the forefathers will be passed on to the next generation in exactly the same way. The teacher is not only a teacher up to the four walls of the classroom or madrassa, but he is a teacher in every moment for his speed, speech and character. Every word and action of a teacher affects the students. Students not only read books or lessons from the teacher but they also study the personality of the teacher. The teacher is a living example for the students everywhere in the madrassa, playground, home and bazaar. If the teacher who forbids immorality is himself involved in these acts, then his actions themselves silently teach the students of immorality and immorality. A great teacher not only nurtures his personality but also provides a better person to the society through his personality. Patience, understanding, decision making, demand. It should be characterized by such qualities as thoughtfulness, eloquence and effective expression. The personality of a teacher becomes even more charming when he establishes discipline with the spirit of sincerity, dedication, empathy, compassion and correction. Addition search There is a well-known English saying that "Teaching is nothing but learning". It is a fact that many educational secrets are revealed through teaching and teaching increases the knowledge of teachers at every moment. Ensure the acquisition of up-to-date information for performance so that you can protect yourself from any embarrassment and humiliation during teaching. By increasing your knowledge, teachers can not only improve their personality but also their teaching. You can succeed in making it effective. There is a saying in Arabic that "acquire knowledge from the lap to the grave". Teachers should always adhere to this saying. Familiarity with students is very important. (3) Students' character and personality building; career building trend in education has diverted students from the very purpose of knowledge. Teacher's great involvement in student character building and personality evolution A good teacher is always concerned about the character building of his students. While removing it, it fills it with faith, fear of God, adherence to the Sunnah and a sense of accountability for the Hereafter. A good teacher instills in his students a purposeful devotion and interest. He keeps the students away from useless and useless pursuits. He urges them to avoid selflessness and materialism from the world. Laziness prevents students from laziness and wastage of time. (4) Schools and teachers; Today, schools, colleges, universities are leading the way in the promotion of materialism by deviating from the real purpose of education. These institutions are succeeding in making doctors, engineers, scientists, politicians, professors, teachers, and philosophers, but they are failing to make a man human (which is the main purpose of education). Kar Hamida seems to be deprived today. Teachers are responsible in these situations and it is increasing that they try to change the method of education and the education system. Perform intellectual teaching activities in seven curricula and educational institutions so that emotions like atheism and materialism do not arise in the students. Encourage the management of educational institutions towards a positive education system through your actions. Establish a high standard of honesty and integrity with integrity. Create Dan. Develop engineers and doctors who not only make the treatment of people their livelihood but also bring this service to the level of worship. Teachers train their students in such a way that they become proficient in their professions. Teachers should equip educational institutions and curricula with a higher purpose of life and thought-provoking tendencies.
Society demands from teachers: shortcomings of the young generation in their place, neglect of parents, curriculum and shortcomings of educational institutions also in their place Take a look at this crisis and determine your own shortcomings and shortcomings. If teachers ignore the hundreds of problems and causes and realize only a little bit of their own shortcomings, then surely the realization will be the first step towards the development of the nation.
