Reminder: There is a slight change in schedule of SIG Sessions. We will have the schedule as follows -

3) 01/02/2018 - Cryptography and Cyber Security SIG Session - NLHC LH 1

4) 02/02/2018 - Web Development SIG Session - NLHC LH 1

Greetings Everyone!
Hour of Code is a global movement reaching millions of students over the world to provide them with knowledge of Computer Science and Technology with an intent to create awareness among the students, helping them pursue various tech related fields in the future.
IIT(ISM) Dhanbad ACM Student Chapter presents you the first ever Hour of Code covering vast topics in Computer Science and Technology. I wanted to share with you about the Venkat Panchapakesan Memorial Scholarship. It is for students in India who are passionate, ever optimistic, and want to use computer science to make the world a more sustainable place.

We are specifically looking for university students who:
Aspire to be computer scientists and technology leaders
Exemplify leadership skills and a demonstrated passion for computer science and technology
Assist those around them to excel in the field of computer science and technology
Help their friends and family members use computer science and technology
Leverage the field of computer science to transform systems (from building the next game-changing technology, to even helping families be happy, etc.)
Have faced adversity and overcome it to continue learning and growing in the field of computer science

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a college/university in India, for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 academic year
Be currently pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical field
