We are looking for Senior QA Engineer, who will be part of strong QA team that is responsible for testing the storage replicator for all major operating systems for one of our client ( One of the Top 4 IT companies)
Responsibilities
• Develop, Execute and Automate the test cases for Storage Replicator software
• Work closely with product management, engineering teams and other SQA teams to continuously evolve and improve the enterprise class storage replication product
• Maintain efficient and effective communication and collaboration with engineering, product management and other SQA teams to manage dependencies and deliverables between various groups to ensure end to end quality
• Ensure robust, securely accessible, highly available and highly scalable product that meets or exceeds customer and end-user expectations
Professional Background – Required
• B.E /B Tech MCA
• 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in testing device drivers or kernel software
• Strong understanding of device and driver management in Windows or Linux or AIX is required.
• In depth system knowledge for any major operating system, scripting and should be experienced in testing filter/pseudo drivers
• Strong Python scripting skills with Automation first approach
• Shall have strong analytical skills, agile mindset, excellent communication and ability to innovate
Professional Background – Desirable
• Experience in testing file systems, storage or data protection software
• Experience in testing host-based replication software on any major Operating System
• In depth knowledge and practical experience in testing SCSI/Disk/Tape drivers or iSCSI drivers
• Knowledge in atleast one of the Hypervisors and Hyperscaler technologies.
