Latest version of ArahWeave can read Bonas harness XML files as black and white images, where unused hooks are black.
This can be useful for users, who want to modify existing Bonas harness files, and add another level of skipped hooks, and then re-save the Bonas harness XML. Currently version 1.1 and 2.0 format is supported in reading and 1.1 in writing.

L'ultima versione di ArahWeave può leggere i file XML di Bonas come immagini in bianco e nero, dove gli arpini inutilizzati sono neri.
Ciò può essere utile per gli utenti, che desiderano modificare i file Bonas XML esistenti e aggiungere un altro livello di arpini saltati, quindi salvare nuovamente l'XML Bonas. Attualmente il formato della versione 1.1 e 2.0 è supportato in lettura e 1.1 in scrittura.

Arahne releases new version of ArahWeave 10.0e

ArahWeave 10.0e improves printout of variants as HTML or PDF. We are using external browser (Safari, Firefox, Edge...) to display fabric technical data. Old school HTML did not allow good control over printout, since HTML was intended for screen viewing. The standards have improved a lot in the last decade, and we are now able to control two important parameters: We want the table background color always to be printed with exact colors, since we use it for the yarn. Previously, this depended on the browser settings, and many users had it misconfigured, since it was hard to find and it was changing from version to version. But even more important, we can now instruct the browser not to break tables across the pages. The result will be appreciated in the weaving mill.
ArahWeave 10.0e migliora la stampa delle varianti in formato HTML o PDF. Utilizziamo un browser esterno (Safari, Firefox, Edge...) per visualizzare i dati tecnici del tessuto. L'HTML della vecchia scuola non consentiva un buon controllo sulla stampa, poiché l'HTML era destinato alla visualizzazione su schermo. Gli standard sono migliorati molto nell'ultimo decennio e ora siamo in grado di controllare due parametri importanti: vogliamo che il colore di sfondo della tabella sia sempre stampato con colori esatti, dato che lo usiamo per il filato. In precedenza, questo dipendeva dalle impostazioni del browser e molti utenti lo avevano configurato in modo errato, poiché era difficile da trovare e cambiava da versione a versione. Ma ancora più importante, ora possiamo istruire il browser a non interrompere le tabelle tra le pagine. Il risultato sarà apprezzato nella tessitura.
