Redefine your resolutions and make a real impact this year.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's time right, time to sing good old satires of “Things to do” for the New coming Year 2018 for the self-proclaimed success.
But that’s not going to happen as it never happened earlier too. With the world changing very fast and dynamically the success path is going to be bone breaking irrespective of the class (service / business) or sector you are in.

The most common New Year's resolutions tend to be vague goals intended to "get your life together" by losing weight, eating healthier food, or exercising more. But most people don't successfully follow through on their resolutions - largely because they're so general and non-specific.

So for a real change and progress go resilient this year and instead of making vague resolutions resolve to these as I decided too –

If you want some real pace and progress, resolve to "Move On"

This may seems harsh at first but it’s required to move on from all that holding you back or worst is not working your way, now that may be your business partner, your best friend and closest people that you spent most of your time with.
As they say don’t fix if it isn’t broken similarly don’t get so cling if it isn’t working.

If you want to be more productive, resolve to take "More Breaks and Work Efficiently"

Contrary to what the workaholics of the world might have us believe, humans have limits.
There are certain times when we might be able to grind away at a project for hour after hour, but we can't do that all the time.
In fact, psychologist K. Anders Ericsson told Business Insider that for the most part, we can only engage in heavy mental work for four or five hours at a time — not eight or ten or twelve.
In the short term, that means when your energy is running low you should get up and go for a walk or do something else to really give your mind a rest. In the longer term, if it's possible, research indicates you might be best off setting yourself up to work fewer hours every week.

If you want to better yourself, resolve to start "Reading Regularly"

Luminaries of the tech and finance worlds like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Warren Buffett agree, often attributing much of their success to regular reading habits.
And reading is simply fun, a great way to pass the time and take a little break from the internet-connected world.
Pick a goal — a book a month or one per week, depending on what you normally read. Create or join a book club if the added motivation of chatting with friends (and snacks and drinks) will ensure you remember to turn the pages. Enjoy.

Finally, if your resolution in the New Year is to be happier, resolve to make choices that will give you more time to enjoy life.
It can seem like we all have a million tasks to complete and needs to meet, leaving little time for relaxation. And while it's important to meet our necessities, there's a significant amount of psychological research that indicates that people who have more time and who make decisions that prioritize time over money are happier.
We spend many of precious free minutes flicking through our smartphones, absorbed in the minutiae of the internet but not engaged in anything longer lasting. Give yourself your free time back — and use it to cook a meal, get in a workout, or do some reading. It'll be one step towards a better 2018.
ibizsoft solutions wishes to you and your family a very happy and successful year ahead.

Take these 7 resolutions to grow your business.

A resolution is a decision to do something differently to bring about positive change. It’s a good time to reflect on your business’ progress and plan how you want to grow your business.

1. Learn how to delegate and do more of it.
As a small business owner, your to-do list probably doesn’t even fit on one page. There are so many things to do, and it’s easy to delude ourselves that we need to do all of them ourselves. You can only work so many hours in a day. As a result, you’re probably exhausted, stressed and don’t have any free time outside of your business. Delegation is the key to a healthy work-life balance. However, people don’t delegate because it takes a lot of upfront effort and requires a loss of control. So how do you let someone else do certain tasks, while making sure it’s done correctly? The answer is simple: communication and training. Make sure your employees or friends or partners are trained enough, to the point where they can take over some of your tasks. The next step is to clearly communicate the objectives and deadlines, so that you don’t end up micromanaging.

2. Learn how to manage cash flow more effectively.
Cash flow is the lifeblood of any small business. In fact, a prominent study from the financial services company U.S. Bank found that 82 percent of startups and small businesses fail due to poor cash flow management. According to The Balance, “This is a great resolution for small business owners who have drastic ebbs and flows in their cash flow, have been unable to create enough capital to invest back into the business or those who don’t really understand the day-to-day finances of the business.”

3. Take steps to improve digital presence.
If it’s been more than a year since your site has been updated, if you haven’t taken action to make your online presence mobile-friendly, if you still haven’t created an email marketing list or if digital isn’t part of your marketing strategy at all, it’s time to add this to your new year’s resolutions. You could even take a step further than mobile-friendly and use a mobile-first approach to your digital presence.

4. Make business strategizing a weekly event.
Planning is vital if you want to foster a growing business. But running a small business can be chaotic and it’s easy to get sucked into the day-to-day operations. Business strategizing allows you to take a step back and highlight what worked and what didn’t, while adjusting old goals and setting new ones. So why do it just once a quarter or once a year? Set aside time each week to review your strategies. This will help you stay on track and allow you to have a clear hold on your business.

5. Drop what’s not working and move on.
After all that business strategies, you will know exactly what’s not working for your small business. Maybe your sales method isn’t performing well, one of your products isn’t selling or a specific partnership isn’t working out… If this is the case, it’s time to drop it. As The Balance states, “If a technique or a product or a business relationship isn’t working for you, stop using it. Don’t invest a lot of energy into trying to make the unworkable workable. Move on. Something better will turn up.”

6. Promote your business regularly and consistently.
Since small business owners wear a lot of hats, you might not always have “marketing” at the top of your to-do list. While you should definitely focus on delivering that amazing small business experience, you shouldn’t forget to market that amazing experience to to the outside world. To attract new customers, you have to make promotion a priority. Take the time to create a marketing plan or, even your funds allow it, hire a marketing expert to help you set it up. To get started, try some of these ways to get press coverage for your small business.

7. Enhance your technology footprint.
Few things frustrate employees -- and customers -- more than working with outdated technology. Slow internet speeds, clunky operating systems and inadequate tools can eat up valuable time. Make an inventory list of all your company supplies to see what needs replacing. Maybe it’s time to implement that online food ordering system, or maybe your employees could use new computers. Start the year off right by upgrading your technology footprint.

The 5 Challenges You'll Face on the Path of Building Your Side Business

1. Loneliness and self-doubt.

This is the first challenge you will face as you begin building your business on the side. Even if you have a lot of friends and enjoy the time you spend with them, you will need to sacrifice a lot of time with them to be able to build your business on the side. Being lonely and working on a business without having a steady income will make you doubt yourself everyday.

The solution?

Plan high quality time to spend with your friends and family by saving special time to still enjoy yourself. Have a clear plan of what you want to achieve and model your activities after someone who achieved it. You can ask that person to be your mentor or take a course that shows you what do do step by step.

2. Financing your business.

We're all aware of the problem of finances when building a business on the side. When you're starting out and your income is limited and you're getting little to no money for the work you do, you'll find it hard to finance your business.

You could borrow money (which I don't think is the best thing for most people to do) or bootstrap your business. You don't need to invest a lot of money to start a business online. Don't go after shiny objects and aim for perfection. Just start simple and iterate later.

3. Limited time.

The problem with building a side business is that you're doing it with your spare time. You have other things that are taking up most of your time.

So time will probably be the biggest challenge you'll face, especially when you're doing it for nearly no return for a long time.

The solution?

Start reading about time management and plan your time wisely. The Pomodoro* technique is a great way to help you get more done in less time.

*(The pomodoro technique is a proven and popular time management life hack.
The main premise behind the technique is to work in blocks of time, typically 25 minutes long (called pomodoro sessions), followed by a 5 minute break. Each pomodoro session should demand your full attention on one task, every break requires you to step away from your work to rest.)

4. Stress.

This was a deal-breaker for me last semester. The study requirements at my college increased significantly, and at the same time I had lots of deadlines that needed to be met or I would lose long-term clients.

Long story short, I broke down and lost a few clients. Stress is inevitable, specially when building your business on the side.

How to deal with it? Just know that getting burned out is a natural part of the process. And then make your schedule a little bit flexible so you have time for emergencies that pop up. Also, use the morning to your advantage, because that's a low-stress time of the day. And start practicing meditation.

5. Staying healthy

Since time is limited and you want to make your business successful, you might think it would be better to save that hour of going to the gym and start spending it on working on your business. Yes, it could be advantageous in the short term, but over time, your energy level will fall, and your stress level will increase.

I once heard Jim Rohn say something along the lines of, "Your business growth can't exceed your self growth."

Plan going to the gym for just 1 hour for 3 times a week, and take a walk for 30 minutes on the other days. Plan your meals ahead of time so you don't have to eat junk food. That will be a great step toward being healthy.

It's inevitable that you'll face a lot of challenges when building your business. This is especially true when you're building your startup on the side. You need to start taking action to face these challenges.

9 WAYS TO START NEW YEAR 2017 WITH A BANG.

It’s always kind of a letdown when the holidays end. The decorations come down, the parties come to an end, and there’s no more fruitcake. Okay, maybe you’re glad there’s no more fruitcake, but other than that, it’s time to cheer up.

The New Year offers a bright, shiny opportunity to clear the slate, make a fresh start and set new goals. Here are nine ways to kick off the New Year with a bang.

1. Take a break.
After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, allow yourself a break in the action. Break from the norm and take a couple of days off to take a day trip, catch up on your sleep, or go to lunch with a friend. A new landscape will help you de-stress and open your eyes to new possibilities. This is also a good time to write thank-you notes to all those who gave you gifts during the holidays.

2. Create a vision board.
Use this quiet time to reflect on the year past and plan for the new one to come. Pick one or two big things you’d like to accomplish and create a vision board. Bestselling author Jack Canfield believes a vision board serves as a tangible representation of where you are going. In other words, it represents your dreams, goals and your ideal life. Set your goals for each month, quarter and the year, and lay out weekly and monthly action steps that will help you reach them.

3. Tidy up.
Clear out and spruce up your working space. The new year is also a good time to purchase new office furniture or accessories. Pack away last year’s files and make space for new ones. Clean out your email inbox and electronic files. Organize end-of-year records. Dust, vacuum and decorate in order to get those productive juices flowing.

4. Restock.
Like the start of a new school year, you need new supplies to help you do your best work. Take an inventory of all items you need to do business, and purchase or replace items you have run out of or need to order. This can include a new monitor, computer, printer, or even small items such as business cards, stationery, order forms, catalogs, note pads, pencils, pens and paper clips.

5. Get moving.
Perhaps you overindulged during the holidays. Just about everyone does. Get back in a healthy routing by eating well and exercising regularly. Set specific times during the week to take walks or go to an exercise class. Make an appointment with yourself and put it in your calendar. Use your exercise time to calm the mind, listen to music, TED talks or podcasts, or socialize with new friends.

6. Get organized.
To boost productivity and reduce stress, determine which tasks and duties are priority and which are not. Learn to delegate the less important tasks to others so you can concentrate on running the business. Hire talent or outsource work to freelancers. You can find the help you need by using sources such as Upwork or Fiverr.

7. Get out from behind your computer.
Technology is a great way to network and hold virtual meetings, but try scheduling face-to-face meetings with clients and colleagues whenever possible. Relationships blossom and more deals are likely to happen if you can meet someone in person.

8. Commit to a work-life balance.
Don’t let work control your life. This year, set a work-life plan that will enable you to nurture relationships and interests outside of work as well as take care of business. A mastermind group or an accountability partner will help you stick to these resolutions.

9. Set a theme
Instead of making a New Year’s resolution, come up with a theme instead. The theme should be a word that resonates with you and embodies something that has been missing from your daily life. Write this word down and keep it on your desk and look at it every day. Here are some examples: mindfulness, flexibility, simplify and adventure.

The New Year offers an opportunity to reboot, reorganize, start over, and do the things you’ve been putting off way too long. Be patient with yourself. You have all year to accomplish your new goals. And don’t forget to reward yourself whenever you make strides in a positive direction.

iBizSoft Wishes you all a very happy and great new year 2017.

17/09/2016

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Unless our brains get involved. Then we’ll find a way to roam the world looking for complicated alternatives.

The mind can catapult us to our greatest hopes and dreams, or it can confuse and torture us until we give up in disappointment.

Here are the most common mental battles entrepreneurs face, plus a quick prescription for each.

1. Little think.
“You don't think big enough. I think of writing scores of books, a body of work, you procrastinate over a blog post.” -- Alan Weiss

We never will hit our milestones if we allow each step to stall us. Overthinking the small things traps us, preventing us from achieving the big things.

The enemy of procrastination is now. Make a quick but solid decision, and move forward by leaps.

2. Doubt fires.
“Thinking will not overcome fear, but action will.” -- W. Clement Stone

When doubt fills our minds, fear dominates our thoughts. Take action and realize that most of your fears are imagined. Self-imposed nightmares conjure the worst possible results.

Perhaps you can’t take the “massive action” so often encouraged. But you can take a step and then another step. You can move toward your goal.

3. Future failures.
“It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all, in which case you have failed by default.” -- J. K. Rowling

When we fail to profit, we often become prophets. We start seeing failure in advance, even if there’s no evidence our venture is headed for disaster. When the mind foresees failure, it can lead to paralysis.

Fight future failure by reminding yourself of past successes. Use evidence from your past to predict your future.

4. Dataless decisions.
“Economics is everywhere, and understanding economics can help you make better decisions and lead a happier life." -- Tyler Cowen

Emotional decisions can be dangerous, but dataless decisions can be fatal. By nature, most entrepreneurs are risk-takers. We have a little bit of gambler in us, so it’s easy to make gut decisions even when the odds are against us.

Instead of rolling the dice on pure instinct, consult the figures on the spreadsheets or your group of trusted advisors. Make decisions based on solid facts, not just the excitement of the moment.

5. Fuzzy focus.
“You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.” -- Mark Twain

The ability to go where you want begins with the ability to envision it clearly in your mind. Yet our imaginations seem drawn to clutter and often end up overwhelming us.

Find clarity by compartmentalizing your thoughts. Create mental “buckets” and sort the various facets of your business. Spend time thinking separately about sales, marketing, revenue and expenses, or the convergence will become unbearable.

6. Complicated calculations.
“Clarity comes with simplicity.” -- Brendon Burchard

This mental block falls right in line with the last one. Instead of making fast, minimal decisions, we tend to make slow, maximal decisions. There are times we could simply ask a friend for quick feedback, but we allow issues to fall to a committee. Too many calculators only complicate the process.

Ask yourself, “What is the fastest, safest way to reach X results?” Then do it.

7. Motivational manipulation.
“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” -- Napoleon Hill

Maybe. Sometimes the mental block is not a negative, but a positive. We become so convinced we’ll reach a goal that we expect the entire team to adopt our thinking. This motivational manipulation might help in the short term. But we can’t ignore accruing evidence that signals we might be headed for disappointment.

Motivate without the manipulation. Be honest about the ground you’ve gained or lost with the current strategy. Reality is not a curse word; it’s the word that forms our world.

The mind will never be fully tamed, so continue fighting these mental blocks with courage and consistency.

10/07/2016

There is a wonderful feeling when you buy a new book. A youthful feeling of anxious anticipation slips over you as you break it open, and escape into the world crafted by the author.

Given your high expectations, the first few sentences have an obligation to immediately grab your attention. In fact, these first few words may determine whether you continue reading or not.

In order to understand the importance of the opening of a book, look no further than some of the great literary masterpieces of our time. Many of these openings are well known, and represent writing at its finest. And, if you dig a little deeper, and apply these words to your business, you may be surprised by their hidden value. Here are 10 business lessons from the opening lines of classic novels.

1. Sometimes you feel alone and invisible.
“I am an invisible man.” - Ralph Ellison, Invisible Man (1952)

There is no doubt that as an entrepreneur there are going to be times when you feel completely alone. You spend countless hours driving your business forward often being the only one who truly sees the vision of your work. Additionally, as you are building your business you often find yourself far removed from the spotlight. Your audience is smaller than you wish, and you struggle to gain visibility.

Learn to embrace these periods of invisibility as they can serve as instrumental moments as you tactically grow your business. Your time to shine will come.

2. It is important to tell your story.
“If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of crap, but I don’t feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth” - J. D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye (1951)

Your story is what makes you stand out from the ever-growing noise online. Don’t be afraid to tell your story, and let others understand your journey.

3. Share your journey regardless of how successful you may or may not be.
“Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show” - Charles Dickens, David Copperfield (1850)

Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable or to speak about the struggles you are having. These truthful expositions into your personal journey will resonate with your audience and allow them to see you beyond your brand.

4. Think outside of the box.
“It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.” - George Orwell, Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949)

In order to stand out from everyone else, you have to think outside of the box. Always try to go to a level deeper with your analysis to find unique angles of thought. By simply following the herd you are setting yourself up for obscurity and failure.

5. Embrace your individualism.
“You don’t know about me without you have read a book by the name of 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,' but that ain’t no matter. That book was made by a Mr. Mark Twain, and he told the truth, mainly.” - Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884)

You don’t have to have the best graphics. You don’t have to be grammatically correct with everything you publish. You don’t have to be perfect. In fact, imperfection is often viewed as more authentic and endearing to your audience. Find your particular voice. Embrace it, and learn to use it to dominate your space.

6. Be a personable brand.
“Call me Ishmael” - Herman Melville, Moby-Dick (1851)

It’s a simple opening to a classic novel, yet it speaks volumes. Your brand can only go so far without your personality playing a key role. Interaction and collaboration with your audience will be much easier when people actually know your name.

7. Constantly pursue learning.
“All children, except one, grow up.” - J. M. Barrie, Peter Pan (1911)

Nurture your thirst for knowledge, and constantly strive to improve yourself and your business. Maintain a child’s curiosity. Question everything you come across. Ask why. Don’t be afraid of new technology, processes or opportunities.

8. Refine your language, and take pride in your art.
“The cold passed reluctantly from the earth, and the retiring fogs revealed an army stretched out on the hills, resting.” - Stephen Crane, The Red Badge of Courage (1895)

These words paint a picture and are eloquently constructed. With everything you do, aim for advancement. As you move through the seasons of entrepreneurship, build upon the last season, and offer a better version of yourself and a stronger version of your business. Strive for constant improvement, and construct something you can be proud of.

9. Age means nothing.
“He was an old man who fished alone in a skiff in the Gulf Stream and he had gone 84 days now without taking a fish.” - Ernest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea (1952)

Your age, whether fresh out of college or having a mid-life career change, means nothing. The beauty of the world today is that anyone can pursue their passions, and create a business revolving around work they love. Don’t ever think you are too young, too old or too inexperienced to begin your journey.

10. You are going to stay extremely busy.
“There was no possibility of taking a walk that day.” - Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre (1847)

Last but not least, being an entrepreneur is tiring. You will be pushed mentally and physically as you try to realize your dreams. Make sure you value your commitments, prioritize your work, and push forward with the tasks that move your business to new levels.

03/01/2016

Your goals in 2016 should be creating a better life for yourself and making more money -- but for many it’s not.

Health and wellness were top priorities for in 2015 according to data from a survey, which highlighted how “Stay healthy and fit” was the top resolution, coming in at (38 percent), followed closely by “Starting a new business” (32 percent) and “lose weight” (14 percent). Based on the survey results, just a handful are throwing in the towel and not making any resolutions (16 percent).

As I read this, I was amazed that making more money wasn’t even on the list. Apparently losing those extra pounds is more important to most than earning more income and ultimately achieving financial freedom. The truth is, resolutions, in general, don’t work. How many times are you going to do this to yourself before you understand? While I am very enthusiastic about physical health, financial health should also be a top priority -- just not necessarily a resolution.

2015 TOP 10 NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS
1. Stay fit and healthy
2. Starting a new business
3. lose weight
4. Enjoy life to the fullest
5. Spend less, save more
6. Spend more time with family and friends
7. Get organized
8. Will not make any resolutions
9. Learn something new/new hobby
10 Travel more and Read more

This year, reset for a new life, not just a new year. Have goals so inspiring that you are willing to give up other things you once found entertaining. At the age of 28, I realized I had been setting goals that were simply too small—too average.

The major reason most people are not getting the life they want is because they aren’t creating the life they want. The goals they have set for themselves aren’t their own goals; they are someone else’s. No wonder they don’t follow them up with any energy. Billionaire Mark Cuban says, “The only thing any entrepreneur, salesperson, or anyone in any position can control is their effort.”

The only explanation for people not applying the right amount of effort is because their goals are too small. When you are excited, you use fear, effort, and energy. You only fail in life or business when you quit, and you only come up short when you don’t exert the right amount of energy.

Your mom told you to be practical. Your dad told you to set attainable goals. Your teachers, excluding the exceptional one or two, enforced mundane orders of classroom conformity. This leaves the average man living from paycheck to paycheck. Your parents, teachers and peers were wrong and the New Years resolutions have never worked. Trade in your resolutions for goals that are unreasonable, unattainable and that stretch you beyond average and ordinary.

Take a few minutes and ask yourself these questions:

1. What thing have you always been passionate about and willing to do for no pay?

2. What would you be willing to travel across the state in order to talk to someone about?

3. Will your friends label you “crazy” for the pursuit of this goal?

Find that thing that you are obsessed with and then make that your life purpose, not just a simple resolution. Every extraordinary person you know was an ordinary person that became obsessed with some crazy, greater, unbelievable goal—and refused to let go of it. That can be you.

Edison, Ford, Jobs and Disney merely refused to conform. They became obsessed with making the impossible possible. The ‘greats’ did not stumble onto greatness, they simply refused to just go to work every day.

This is not the time for resolutions, small thinking, or to seek approval from your peers. Take this time to reset your life with massive goals that are consistent with the hidden potential you have been denying yourself. Great people do great things; not because they are great, but because they refuse to be average.

Regardless of your story, there is a greater potential in you. The greatest grief of your life will not be the loss of family members, friends or loved ones, but the loss of your own purpose.

Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Wealthy 2016. Let’s crush it together.
