At age 5 his Father died.
At age 16 he quit school.
At age 17 he had already lost four jobs.
At age 18 he got married.
Between ages 18 and 22, he was a railroad conductor and failed. He joined the army and washed out there.
He applied for law school he was rejected.
He became an insurance sales man and failed again.
At age 19 he became a father.
At age 20 his wife left him and took their baby daughter.
He became a cook and dishwasher in a small cafe.
He failed in an attempt to kidnap his own daughter, and eventually he convinced his wife to return home.
At age 65 he retired.
On the 1st day of retirement he received a cheque from the Government for $105.
He felt that the Government was saying that he couldn’t provide for himself.
He decided to commit su***de, it wasn’t worth living anymore; he had failed so much.
He sat under a tree writing his will, but instead, he wrote what he would have accomplished with his life.
He realised there was much more that he hadn’t done.
There was one thing he could do better than anyone he knew. And that was how to cook. So he borrowed $87 against his cheque and bought and fried up some chicken using his recipe, and went door to door to sell them to his neighbours in Kentucky.

Remember at age 65 he was ready to commit su***de. But at age 88 Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Empire was a billionaire.

Moral of the story: Attitude. It's never too late to start all over.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT'S ALL ABOUT YOUR ATTITUDE. NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW HARD IT GETS. You have what it takes to be successful. Go for it and make a difference. No guts no glory. It's never too old to dream.!!

Germany is a highly industrialized country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life.

When we arrived at Hamburg , my colleagues walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.

There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.
As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us.When we left, there was still about one third of un-consumed food on the table.

When we were leaving the restaurant, the old ladies spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food.

"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind," my colleague told the old ladies. The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform from Social Security organisation arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Euro fine. We all kept quiet.

The officer told us in a stern voice, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES."

The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame. WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat.

पत्नी बार बार मां पर इल्जाम लगाए जा
रही थी और पति बार बार उसको अपनी हद में
रहने की कह रहा था
लेकिन पत्नी चुप होने का नाम ही नही ले
रही थी व् जोर जोर से चीख चीखकर कह रही
थी कि
"उसने अंगूठी टेबल पर ही रखी थी और तुम्हारे
और मेरे अलावा इस कमरें मे कोई नही आया
अंगूठी हो ना हो मां जी ने ही उठाई है।।
बात जब पति की बर्दाश्त के बाहर हो गई तो
उसने पत्नी के गाल पर एक जोरदार तमाचा दे
मारा
अभी तीन महीने पहले ही तो शादी हुई थी ।
पत्नी से तमाचा सहन नही हुआ
वह घर छोड़कर जाने लगी और जाते जाते पति
से एक सवाल पूछा कि तुमको अपनी मां पर
इतना विश्वास क्यूं है..??
तब पति ने जो जवाब दिया उस जवाब को
सुनकर दरवाजे के पीछे खड़ी मां ने सुना तो
उसका मन भर आया पति ने पत्नी को बताया
कि
"जब वह छोटा था तब उसके पिताजी गुजर गए
मां मोहल्ले के घरों मे झाडू पोछा लगाकर जो
कमा पाती थी उससे एक वक्त का खाना
आता था
मां एक थाली में मुझे परोसा देती थी और
खाली डिब्बे को ढककर रख देती थी और
कहती थी मेरी रोटियां इस डिब्बे में है
बेटा तू खा ले
मैं भी हमेशा आधी रोटी खाकर कह देता था
कि मां मेरा पेट भर गया है मुझे और नही
खाना है
मां ने मुझे मेरी झूठी आधी रोटी खाकर मुझे
पाला पोसा और बड़ा किया है
आज मैं दो रोटी कमाने लायक हो गया हूं
लेकिन यह कैसे भूल सकता हूं कि मां ने उम्र के
उस पड़ाव पर अपनी इच्छाओं को मारा है,
वह मां आज उम्र के इस पड़ाव पर किसी अंगूठी
की भूखी होगी ....
यह मैं सोच भी नही सकता
तुम तो तीन महीने से मेरे साथ हो
मैंने तो मां की तपस्या को पिछले पच्चीस
वर्षों से देखा है...
यह सुनकर मां की आंखों से छलक उठे वह समझ
नही पा रही थी कि बेटा उसकी आधी
रोटी का कर्ज चुका रहा है या वह बेटे की
आधी रोटी का कर्ज...

((((( भगवान की प्लानिंग )))))
एक बार भगवान से उनका सेवक कहता है, भगवान आप एक जगह खड़े-खड़े थक गये होंगे.
एक दिन के लिए मैं आपकी जगह मूर्ति बन कर खड़ा हो जाता हूं, आप मेरा रूप धारण कर घूम आओ.
भगवान मान जाते हैं, लेकिन शर्त रखते हैं कि जो भी लोग प्रार्थना करने आयें, तुम बस उनकी प्रार्थना सुन लेना. कुछ बोलना नहीं.
मैंने उन सभी के लिए प्लानिंग कर रखी है. सेवक मान जाता है.
सबसे पहले मंदिर में बिजनेस मैन आता है और कहता है, भगवान मैंने एक नयी फैक्ट्री डाली है, उसे खूब सफल करना.
वह माथा टेकता है, तो उसका पर्स नीचे गिर जाता है. वह बिना पर्स लिये ही चला जाता है.
सेवक बेचैन हो जाता है. वह सोचता है कि रोक कर उसे बताये कि पर्स गिर गया, लेकिन शर्त की वजह से वह नहीं कह पाता.
इसके बाद एक गरीब आदमी आता है और भगवान को कहता है कि घर में खाने को कुछ नहीं. भगवान मदद कर.
तभी उसकी नजर पर्स पर पड़ती है. वह भगवान का शुक्रिया अदा करता है और पर्स लेकर चला जाता है.
अब तीसरा व्यक्ति आता है. वह नाविक होता है.
वह भगवान से कहता है कि मैं 15 दिनों के लिए जहाज लेकर समुद्र की यात्रा पर जा रहा हूं. यात्रा में कोई अड़चन न आये भगवान.
तभी पीछे से बिजनेस मैन पुलिस के साथ आता है और कहता है कि मेरे बाद ये नाविक आया है.
इसी ने मेरा पर्स चुरा लिया है. पुलिस नाविक को ले जा रही होती है कि सेवक बोल पड़ता है.
अब पुलिस सेवक के कहने पर उस गरीब आदमी को पकड़ कर जेल में बंद कर देती है.
रात को भगवान आते हैं, तो सेवक खुशी खुशी पूरा किस्सा बताता है.
भगवान कहते हैं, तुमने किसी का काम बनाया नहीं, बल्कि बिगाड़ा है.
वह व्यापारी गलत धंधे करता है. अगर उसका पर्स गिर भी गया, तो उसे फर्क नहीं पड़ता था.
इससे उसके पाप ही कम होते, क्योंकि वह पर्स गरीब इंसान को मिला था. पर्स मिलने पर उसके बच्चे भूखों नहीं मरते.
रही बात नाविक की, तो वह जिस यात्रा पर जा रहा था, वहां तूफान आनेवाला था.
अगर वह जेल में रहता, तो जान बच जाती. उसकी पत्नी विधवा होने से बच जाती. तुमने सब गड़बड़ कर दी.
कई बार हमारी लाइफ में भी ऐसी प्रॉब्लम आती है, जब हमें लगता है कि ये मेरा साथ ही क्यों हुआ.
लेकिन इसके पीछे भगवान की प्लानिंग होती है.
जब भी कोई प्रॉब्लमन आये. उदास मत होना.
इस कहानी को याद करना और सोचना कि जो भी होता है, अच्छे के लिए होता है.

एक बेटा अपने वृद्ध पिता को रात्रि भोज के लिए एक अच्छे रेस्टॉरेंट में लेकर गया।
खाने के दौरान वृद्ध पिता ने कई बार भोजन अपने कपड़ों पर गिराया।
रेस्टॉरेंट में बैठे दुसरे खाना खा रहे लोग वृद्ध को घृणा की नजरों से देख रहे थे लेकिन वृद्ध का बेटा शांत था।
खाने के बाद बिना किसी शर्म के बेटा, वृद्ध को वॉश रूम ले गया। उसके कपड़े साफ़ किये, उसका चेहरा साफ़ किया, उसके बालों में कंघी की,चश्मा पहनाया और फिर बाहर लाया।
सभी लोग खामोशी से उन्हें ही देख रहे थे।बेटे ने बिल पे किया और वृद्ध के साथ
बाहर जाने लगा।
तभी डिनर कर रहे एक अन्य वृद्ध ने बेटे को आवाज दी और उससे पूछा " क्या तुम्हे नहीं लगता कि यहाँ
अपने पीछे तुम कुछ छोड़ कर जा रहे हो ?? "
बेटे ने जवाब दिया" नहीं सर, मैं कुछ भी छोड़ कर
नहीं जा रहा। "
वृद्ध ने कहा " बेटे, तुम यहाँ
छोड़ कर जा रहे हो,
प्रत्येक पुत्र के लिए एक शिक्षा (सबक) और प्रत्येक पिता के लिए उम्मीद (आशा)। "
दोस्तो आमतौर पर हम लोग अपने बुजुर्ग माता पिता को अपने साथ बाहर ले जाना पसँद नही करते
और कहते है क्या करोगो आप से चला तो जाता
नही ठीक से खाया भी नही जाता आपतो घर पर ही रहो वही अच्छा होगा.
क्या आप भूल गये जब आप छोटे थे और आप के माता पिता आप को अपनी गोद मे उठा कर ले जाया
करते थे,
आप जब ठीक से खा नही
पाते थे तो माँ आपको अपने हाथ से खाना खिलाती थी और खाना गिर जाने पर डाँट नही प्यार जताती थी
फिर वही माँ बाप बुढापे मे बोझ क्यो लगने लगते है???
माँ बाप भगवान का रूप होते है उनकी सेवा कीजिये और प्यार दीजिये...
क्योकि एक दिन आप भी बुढे होगे फिर अपने बच्चो से सेवा की उम्मीद मत करना..
वो भी तो आप से ही सिखते है

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."
SON: "Oh! (With his head down).
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
The father was furious.
DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"
SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".
DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"
SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do.
"Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.
Some things are more important.

हैलो माँ ... में रवि बोल रहा हूँ....,कैसी हो माँ....?

मैं.... मैं…ठीक हूँ बेटे.....,ये बताओ तुम और बहू दोनों कैसे हो?

हम दोनों ठीक है

माँ...आपकी बहुत याद आती है…, ..अच्छा सुनो माँ,में अगले महीने इंडिया आ रहा हूँ.....तुम्हें लेने।

क्या...? हाँ माँ....,अब हम सब साथ ही रहेंगे....,

नीतू कह रही थी माज़ी को अमेरिका ले आओ वहाँ अकेली बहुत परेशान हो रही होंगी।

हैलो ....सुनरही हो माँ...?“हाँ...ह ाँ बेटे...“,बूढ़ी आंखो से खुशी की अश्रुधारा बह निकली,बेटे और बहू का प्यार नस नस में दौड़ने लगा।

जीवन के सत्तर साल गुजार चुकी सावित्री ने जल्दी से अपने पल्लू से आँसू पोंछे और बेटे से बात करने लगी।

पूरे दो साल बाद बेटा घर आ रहा था।

बूढ़ी सावित्री ने मोहल्ले भरमे दौड़ दौड़ कर ये खबर सबको सुना दी।

सभी खुश थे की चलो बुढ़ापा चैनसे बेटे और बहू के साथ गुजर जाएगा।

रवि अकेला आया था,उसने कहा की माँ हमे जल्दी ही वापिस जाना है इसलिए जो भी रुपया पैसा किसी से लेना है वो लेकर रखलों और तब तक मे किसी प्रोपेर्टी डीलर से मकान की बात करता हूँ।

“मकान...?”, माँ ने पूछा। हाँ माँ,अब ये मकान बेचना पड़ेगा वरना कौन इसकी देखभाल करेगा।

हम सबतो अब अमेरिका मे ही रहेंगे।बूढ़ी आंखो ने मकान के कोने कोने को ऐसे निहारा जैसे किसी अबोध बच्चे को सहला रही हो।

आनन फानन और औने-पौने दाम मे रवि ने मकान बेच दिया।

सावित्री देवी ने वो जरूरी सामान समेटा जिस से उनको बहुत ज्यादा लगाव था।

रवि टैक्सी मँगवा चुका था। एयरपोर्ट पहुँचकर रवि ने कहा,”माँ तुम यहाँ बैठो मे अंदर जाकर सामान की जांच और बोर्डिंग और विजा का काम निपटा लेता हूँ।

““ठीक है बेटे।“,सावित्री देवी वही पास की बेंच पर बैठ गई।

काफी समय बीत चुका था। बाहर बैठी सावित्री देवी बार बार उस दरवाजे की तरफ देख रही थी जिसमे रवि गया था लेकिन अभी तक बाहर नहीं आया।‘

शायद अंदर बहुत भीड़ होगी...’,सोचकर बूढ़ी आंखे फिर से टकट की लगाए देखने लगती।

अंधेरा हो चुका था। एयरपोर्ट के बाहरगहमागहमी कम हो चुकी थी।

“माजी...,किस से मिलना है?”,एक कर्मचारी नेवृद्धा से
पूछा ।

“मेरा बेटा अंदर गया था.....टिकिट लेने,वो मुझे अमेरिका लेकर जा रहा है ....”,सावित्री देबी ने घबराकर कहा।

“लेकिन अंदर तो कोई पैसेंजर नहीं है,अमेरिका जाने वाली फ्लाइट तो दोपहर मे ही चली गई। क्या नाम था आपके बेटे
का?” ,कर्मचारी ने सवाल किया।

“र....रवि. ...”, सावित्री के चेहरे पे चिंता की लकीरें उभर आई।

कर्मचारी अंदर गया और कुछ देर बाद बाहर आकर बोला,“माजी....

आपका बेटा रवि तो अमेरिका जाने वाली फ्लाइट से कब का जा चुका...।”“क्या. ? ”

वृद्धा कि आखो से आँसुओं का सैलाब फुट पड़ा।

बूढ़ी माँ का रोम रोम कांप उठा। किसी तरह वापिस घर पहुंची जो अब बिक चुका था।

रात में घर के बाहर चबूतरे पर ही सो गई।सुबह हुई तो दयालु मकान मालिक ने एक कमरा रहने को दे दिया।

पति की पेंशन से घर का किराया और खाने का काम चलने
लगा।

समय गुजरने लगा। एक दिन मकान मालिक ने वृद्धा से पूछा।

“माजी... क्यों नही आप अपने किसी रिश्तेदार के यहाँ चली जाए,अब आपकी उम्र भी बहुत हो गई,अकेली कब तक रह पाएँगी।“

“हाँ,चली तो जाऊँ,लेकिन कल को मेरा बेटा आया तो..?,
यहाँ फिर कौन उसका ख्याल रखेगा?“......

आखँ से आसू आने लग गए दोस्तों ....!!!

माँ बाप का दिल कभी मत दुखाना दोस्तों मेरी आपसे ये हाथ जोड़कर विनती है
