At just 18, Tarman Leer is proving that true champions are not only made on the field — they are also made through life’s toughest moments.

Orphaned early and brought up by her grandparents, Tarman faced responsibility at a young age. A few years ago, she lost her grandmother, and today, with her grandfather unwell and her elder sister supporting the family, Tarman stepped in to help.

An alumna of Don Bosco Tech Jalandhar, Tarman completed the E - Commerce Executive course and now works at a local shopping mart near her home, while continuing her studies.

Tarman is also a sports girl at heart. A passionate athlete and footballer, she is playing at the state level for Punjab. The strength, discipline, and never-give-up spirit she learnt on the football field continue to guide her every day.

During the Don Bosco Tech’s 20-year celebration, she emerged as one of the winners of the Alumni Video Reel Contest.

Her journey reminds us that skills give young people more than employment — they give confidence, dignity, and the courage to build a better future. And sport is one such skill, teaching resilience, discipline, and the strength to face life’s challenges.

Seventeen Don Bosco Tech Youth Graduate from Data Centre Academy; Ten Receive Microsoft Internship Offers with an Annual Package of ₹7 Lakh.

A proud milestone: 10 graduates have received Microsoft internship offers with an annual package of ₹7 lakh, while 3 others have been placed at Suryasoft.

Implemented in partnership with United Way Hyderabad, with support from Microsoft, Young India Skills University, and IIIT Hyderabad, this programme shows the power of collaboration in creating meaningful career pathways for youth.

From training to certification to placement, these young graduates are now stepping into India’s growing digital infrastructure sector with confidence and hope.

Climate resilience and clean energy transition are driving massive job creation. Every solar panel installed requires skilled installers. Every EV needs technicians. Every green system requires trained professionals to maintain and optimize it. India is transitioning toward clean energy—a shift that creates both necessity and opportunity. As infrastructure expands, the demand for trained workforce grows rapidly. That's where Don Bosco Tech comes in. We're training youth for India's green transition as Solar Installers, EV Technicians, Green Agriculture specialists, and Clean Energy Operations professionals.

Batch 5 & 6 of our Unarmed Security Guard Programme at Don Bosco Tech Mawjynrong Umsaw took their final step. They didn't just complete training—they transformed into professionals ready to protect, serve, and lead.
We watched them demonstrate fire emergency response. Crowd management. Life-saving techniques. Skills that will matter on the day someone needs them.
But what moved us most? The confidence in their eyes.
