Remembering Khalilur Rahman Azmi, who is a noted poet and literary critic of Urdu literature, today. He is considered to be among the pioneers of modern Urdu criticism in the sub-continent. He started writing at an early age and played an active part in the Progressive Writers' Movement of Urdu literature. His foremost publications include Kagzi Pairhan, Naya Ahad Nama, Fikr-o-Fan, and Taraqqi Pasand Adabi Tahrik.
