There is a common myth that AI is "thinking." We speak about it in hushed, almost reverent tones, as if we have birthed a digital deity. But if you peel back the interface, you will find that AI is not a visionary; it’s a high-speed historian.
AI is essentially a sophisticated mirror. When you give a prompt to a Large Language Model, it is not "imagining" an answer. It is calculating the most probable sequence of data points based on everything humanity has already done, said, and uploaded to the internet.
