Had a great evening today at a small get-together with entrepreneurs and founders in Downtown Dubai.
Everyone in the room was building something interesting and doing some really impressive work in their respective fields.
The main conversation was around marketing and advertising, and it was great to hear how differently people approach the same challenges. From strategies and customer acquisition to what’s actually working in the real world, everyone had something valuable to share.
What I liked most was how open the conversation was. No formal presentations, no one trying to prove anything — just founders sharing ideas, experiences, challenges, and lessons learned.
Sometimes, a simple conversation with the right people can give you more perspective than hours of reading or researching.
Good people. Great conversations. Lots of new ideas to take away.
