While the world celebrates international Teacher’s Day on the 15th of October, India celebrates it on the 5th of September, which is also the birthday of the famous teacher, academic philosopher and the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishan.

The day commemorates the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and a teacher par excellence, and his contribution towards Indian education system.

Digital India is an initiative of Government of India to integrate the government departments and the people of India. It aims at ensuring the government services are made available to citizens electronically by reducing paperwork. The initiative also includes plan to connect rural areas with high-speed Internet networks. Digital India has three core components. These include: The creation of digital infrastructure, Delivering services digitally, Digital literacy.

To promote the concept of Digital India SDT Provides Education ERP (e-Campus) to automate the education industry. The e-Campus has been designed to cover in depth functionalities of any Educational Institute/ University/ Group of Institutions from the perspective of various users carrying different roles and responsibilities such as Students, Teachers, Staff, Principal / Chairman / Director, Parents and Alumni etc. All the data is managed in a time sensitive manner along with the rules and policies applicable at that time, so whenever required, the exact information can be re-produced as it is.

The strength of e-Campus increases many fold with the integration of many departments like HR, Payroll, Fee, Time Table, Accounts, Inventory and Library etc. as shown in the following diagram. However, the entire solution designed is based on a modular approach that gives flexibility to our clients to choose desired modules as per their requirements.

A 'Holi' Celebration was today organized at the SDT office to celebrate the festival of colour. SDT CEO welcomed the teammates with 'gulal' and 'sweets'.
The "Colouring" phase of the day-long celebration started by forenoon, and the saying "Bura Na Mano, Holi Hai" was floating around everywhere. Even trainees gathered the courage to attack their teammates with Gulal !
