Once a brand establishes its identity and reaches the level of an industry leader, a new phase begins — a sharp rise in market demand.
At this stage, if demand–supply management is not handled wisely, the first stakeholders to feel the impact are often the dealers.
Dealers start getting ignored, decisions become one-sided, and in the name of “brand ownership,” distributors sometimes begin to operate on personal discretion rather than partnership.
With demand rising and supply constrained, pressure shifts unfairly onto dealers — without recognizing who actually helped build the market in the first place.
