Acharya Choodamani, Kalaimamani Smt. Krishnakumari Narendran is a veteran Guru and novel exponent of the Pandanallur style of dance. She is well known for her innovative choreography and scintillating Nattuvangam. Abinaya Natyalaya, the academy of Smt. Krishnakumari Narendran is a premier dance institute dedicated to promoting Bharatanatyam in all its glory and trains young aspirants. It has more

than 65 thematic solo and group fabrications in its catalog. Saying that the four decade old academy imparts only the art form to its disciples is incomplete as her ethics, discipline, perseverance and perfection has made the teacher and the academy unique in every way. Krishnakumari Narendran have taken strides of opening up this art form to the world and are sprinkling the pixie magic of their teacher in various parts of the globe. Krishnakumari Narendran having produced and staged umpteen dance dramas to her credit, amalgamated multimedia into her productions in her own innovative and inimitable style. She has toured several parts of the Indian sub-continent and many foreign countries as a part of her dance productions. Her versatility and capturing choreography has helped her pare herself a forte in the world of Bharatanatyam. Abinaya Natyalaya’s mega group productions include Sri Venkatadri Vaibhavam, Navagraha Ula, Parankusanayaki, Shree Sharadhe, Shri Sharadhamani Deviyar, Shree Mahaganapathi, Sivaswaroopa Thandava Lahiri and the newest addition to the basket Sri Chakra Nayaki.
