𝗶𝗧𝗡𝗧 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗻’𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗜, 𝗜𝗧 & 𝗗𝗦 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿

Hon'ble Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology & Digital Services, 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘂. 𝗥. 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 visited iTNT Hub and engaged with startups, innovators, and ecosystem partners driving innovation across Hardware, Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality, Quantum Technologies, Advanced Manufacturing, and other focused sectors.

A key highlight of the visit was the interaction with the 23 startups onboarded under the Tamil Nadu Hardware Accelerator for Prototype and Product (TN-HAPP), a flagship initiative implemented by iTNT Hub to accelerate the development of manufacturing-ready hardware products. The Hon’ble Minister engaged with the startups and shared feedback on strengthening innovation and positioning Tamil Nadu as a premier destination for manufacturing and Deep Tech.

The visit underscored the Government of Tamil Nadu's continued focus on nurturing DeepTech innovation and entrepreneurship, with iTNT Hub playing a pivotal role in realising Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru. C. Joseph Vijay's vision of positioning Tamil Nadu as India's leading DeepTech powerhouse and contributing to Tamil Nadu's goal of becoming a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036.

What does it take to turn a deep-tech breakthrough into a scalable business? That's exactly what we unpacked at the session GTM Strategies for Deep-Tech & Hardware Startups , led by Mr. Murali Rajagopalan , Deep tech Mentor & Hardware Product Expert.

The session focused on helping startups understand customer needs, identify the right market opportunities, build compelling value propositions, develop effective pricing and positioning strategies, establish sales and distribution channels, and scale hardware innovations from prototype to commercialization. The discussion also highlighted the unique challenges faced by Deep Tech startups in achieving market acceptance and sustainable growth.

A key highlight of the session was the startup product demo showcase, where four startups presented their innovative solutions and received feedback from the speaker.

The Bootcamp concluded with an intensive 1:1 pitching session before an expert jury comprising 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, CEO, Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation - NIT Trichy, and Mr. Vinoth Malaikani, CEO - EDII-ABIRF, where participants showcased their innovative ideas and received feedback to refine their startup journeys.

The cohort also expressed strong interest in continuing their entrepreneurial journey with iTNT Hub's incubation and acceleration programmes.

Principals and research heads of engineering colleges, innovators, startup founders and industry representatives from Salem, Namakkal and Erode districts participated in the one-day Deep Tech sensitisation program organised by iTNT Hub at Sona College of Technology in Salem on May 22.

Addressing the gathering virtually, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗹, CEO, iTNT Hub, spoke about iTNT Hub’s growing regional outreach and its focus on strengthening the Deep Tech ecosystem across Tamil Nadu. She highlighted the establishment of regional hubs in , , and , and shared the Hub’s vision of building similar momentum in Salem through continued collaboration with the ecosystem stakeholders.

The iTNT Hub team also presented the various initiatives and support avenues available for startups, innovators, and researchers, including assistance in idea validation, incubation, acceleration, mentorship, and intellectual property advisory. Mr. Kandeeban Ayyathurai, Founder, SiCrest Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd, an iTNT Hub portfolio startup shared his journey, providing practical insights to aspiring innovators.

As part of the first review meeting with the Hon’ble Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology & Digital Services, 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘂. 𝗥. As part of the Tamil Nadu Hardware Accelerator for Prototyping & Product Development, we conducted a two-day technical workshop for hardware startups on 19th & 20th May 2026 at iTNT Hub, Chennai.

The sessions were led by Mr. Mukund Shenoi, Founder & Chief Mentor at Skilfosys Scientific, who brought deep industry expertise from his experience as a former R&D Scientist at Defence Research and Development Organisation. The sessions focused on strengthening startup capabilities across proof-of-concept development, prototype planning, concept development, and technical architecture design.

We organised the first edition of the Founder’s Edge: Everything They Don’t Teach You at Business School, a Masterclass Series in collaboration with FICCI FLO CHENNAI & A K Mylsamy & Associates, bringing together startup founders, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem stakeholders for an insightful learning experience at iTNT Hub, Chennai.

The masterclass equipped startups with practical business intelligence across legal preparedness, compliance frameworks, governance, AI-led automation, and technology-driven operational efficiency. The session featured expert insights from Ms. Subathra Mylsamy, Managing Partner – AK Mylsamy & Associates, who shared the importance of building strong legal foundations for startups, alongside Mr. Prem Kumar and Mr. Anush Arvind from Freshworks, who highlighted practical approaches to leveraging AI and automation for smarter startup operations, enhanced productivity, and scalable growth.

The session featured innovative startup pitches across aerospace, AI, Robotics, Healthcare, Construction-Tech, Privacy Intelligence, and advanced manufacturing sectors. iTNT Hub’s Portfolio Startups showcased scalable technologies, market opportunities, funding plans, and growth strategies while engaging directly with investors for valuable insights and future collaborations.

The event witnessed active participation from startups including Pullinam Aerospace, Spacetug, Metafocuz AI, Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, Kenesis Labs, Torus Robotics, FocusAR Solutions, Livvolta Healthcare Innovations, Character Labs, TruConsent, and Authenta.
