Interview question and answer on troubleshooting.
1. Windows 7, 8, 8.1 computer is running slow?
Scan and remove virus, adware, malware
Delete temp files
Try to boot in safe mode and check the performance if its fine
Disable startup applications from msconfig
Uninstall unwanted third party programs
Run disk defragment
Try with system restore
2. Disable or enable taskmanager?
Click on Start. Go to Run. If you use Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista, go to Search.
Type regedit and press Enter. Registry Editor will start. If Registry Editor is also disabled, you will first need toenable registry editing.
Through the left hand navigation pane, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\ Current Version\Policies\System. If the System key is not there, you will need to create it.
In the work area, locate "DisableTaskMgr". If this value is not there, you will need to create a new DWORD value called DisableTaskMgr. Double click on it. A window will pop up.
Enter its value data as 0 and press OK.
Close Registry Editor. If Task Manager is still disabled, restart your computer.
3. Bootmgr is missing press any key to continue?
Insert the Windows installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.
Press a key when the message Press any key to boot from CD or DVD appears.
Select a language, a time and a currency, a keyboard or input method, and then click next.
Click Repair your computer.
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, select the drive of your Windows installation, and then click next.
At the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Repair your computer.
Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click next.
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair.
Restart the computer and check its working if not.
Try the above steps and select command prompt
Type Bootrec /RebuildBcd, and then press ENTER.

4. MBR is corrupted?
Insert the Windows installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.

Select a language, a time and a currency, a keyboard or input method, and then click next.
Click Repair your computer.
In the System Recovery Options dialog box, select the drive of your Windows installation, and then click next.
At the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Repair your computer.
Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click next.

Type bootrec.exe /FixMbr
