During the lockdown, Lotte India turned to us for a digital campaign to promote Coffy Bite. Instead of promoting the coffee-toffee directly, we decided to take the path of surrogate advertising. So we initiated the Coffy Bite Art project to spread the 'good taste of the toffee'. We challenged our art team to 'create beauty out of the coffee toffee'. The result has been fabulous. We've created some ground breaking works of art that has immense possibilities of brand merchandising.

Over 3.5 lakh families who bought Dinamalar today, were greeted with a front page ad that reads: "Coffee Saapadreengala?" (Wanna eat coffee?) and were given a free Coffy Bite stick pack, along with the 2020 calendar, to indulge in. The ingenious sampling exercise was thought up by the Marketing Team at Lotte headed by the very resourceful Venkatesh Parthasarathy, and our creative team led by Arun Kumarasamy & Sharad Haksar crafted this idea into a beautiful Tamil ad for 1pointsize. What a great way to start the morning!
