Our client is a well-established and continuously expanding Home care agency that has been providing care to clients and helping them to continue living safely and independently in their own homes for the past 8 years. Our client focuses on your personal development and this post will enable the successful candidate to take advantage of the training and career-track development that we offer, among other benefits, and therefore to maximize his or her potential.

The role is 40 hours, 5 shifts per week and it is office based at Porur, Chennai, however the 8 hour shifts can run from Monday – Sunday to cover UK working hours from 7am to 08pm, there is an element of on call which is out of hours and weekends on a rota basis.

We are looking for someone who has experience working within a care role, ideally BSc nursing, experience in electronic rota management systems, or good IT skills and good communication skills.

Download/ prepare the carers electronic login/out report daily and report to the relevant manager
Monitor the login/out location for each visit daily and organize the information if the login/out location differs from the service user location.
Report/ inform the carers who have failed to log in/out and whose login/out location differs from service user location.
Prepare the report on the carers who are not using the system/app effectively and call them for the investigation meeting.
Monitor and evaluate the carers who are using the system effectively and efficiently and report to the manager
Make sure the QR code is in place for all the service users.
Should be able to take/deal with any queries related to the monitoring app and deal with it promptly.

Qualification

Bachelor degree or equivalent

Experience

Telephone Screening:
Conduct in-depth telephone screening to evaluate candidate competency, motivation, and personality fit for each vacancy.

Appointment:
Book candidates in for an interview, confirming the correct documentation to be taken. Send Text message followed by email regarding Interview schedule.

Interview:
Conduct face-to-face interviews as and when needed, involve the Care Manager, Coordinators, Team Leaders, Service users, or NOK. Verify all original documents and maintain scan copy in the file.
Verify and fill in any gaps in the application and supporting documents.

Issue Job Offer:
Liaise with coordinators about the availability start date and issue the Job Offer, Update the weekly tracker on the new starts.

Communication:
Keep in contact with applicants – regular communication and updates.

Reference and DBS:
Process all documentation such as DBS, right to work, employment history, qualification and Training certificates, Chase of reference to be completed in order to make work ready in line with CQC regulations.

eLearning:
Issue the login details for eLearning once the start date is given and informing them of the responsibility to complete training by fulfilling their contractual obligations and keeping their CPD up to date.
