2025 was a year of momentum for Ailaysa and Chai Reader.

From global book fairs to classrooms, meetups, and startup ecosystems, one thing stayed consistent: multilingual growth works only when language, workflow, and intent stay connected.

A defining milestone this year was our European expansion to Brussels, enabled through the “My Welcome Package” by hub.brussels, with support from StartupTN.

For a company built around multilingual AI, setting up in the EU’s multilingual capital isn’t just symbolic; it’s a strategic step closer to global publishers, creators, and enterprises.

Across 2025, we engaged with publishers and institutions at major international platforms, Frankfurt, Cairo, New Delhi, Beijing, and Sharjah, and with founders, language teams, and innovators at Bengaluru Tech Summit, Global Startup Summit, and SlatorCon.

Alongside this, Chai Reader continued its steady growth, shaped by authors, educators, and publishing partners exploring interactive, multilingual reading, from live demos to moments like the Shimmer Don’t Shake Tamil book launch.

Equally important were our institutional and community engagements, including university sessions and AI meetups, where the next generation of multilingual builders is already taking shape.

Grateful for the partners, clients, institutions, and communities who made this year count.

We move forward with steady growth, responsible AI, and a clear focus on language-first innovation.

The language industry is entering a new phase, one where AI, product thinking, and human insight have to move together. And tomorrow, we’re part of that conversation.

Our Founder & CEO Senthil Nathan will speak at SlatorCon Remote 2025, joining fellow founders and leaders who are actively building the next generation of Language AI.

On the “Language AI Startups” panel, Senthil will share how we’re approaching multilingual content from a systems perspective, moving beyond translation into adaptive workflows that support writing, design, voice, and interactive formats at global scale.

Alongside Dominik Roblek (VoiceFrom.ai) and Eyal Heldenberg (No Barrier Medical Translation), the discussion will look at how early-stage companies are shaping real-world use cases, solving product-market gaps, and innovating where traditional models fall short.

Moderated by Silvia Terribile (Slator), this conversation brings together the builders who are redefining what multilingual AI can do for enterprises, creators, and global audiences.

Translation isn’t a problem. Adaptation is.

Most translation challenges don’t come from language barriers; they come from context gaps.

Teams spend hours fixing tone, rewriting for cultural nuances, and aligning layouts that get lost in translation.
That’s not inefficiency, that’s the cost of tools that translate without adapting.

At Ailaysa, we built Adaptive Translation to work like your editorial partner, not a machine translator.
It learns your domain language, style, and glossary.
It understands when to keep tone intact, when to localize, and when not to translate at all.

Because global publishing doesn’t need faster translation.
It needs smarter adaptation.

Day 1 at Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025

A strong start to BTS 2025 with a great interaction at the hub.brussels pavilion, including a warm conversation with Consul General Frank Geerkens (Belgium).

This year event, truly stands out, and it was inspiring to see the momentum they’re building with Indian startups. We also had the chance to share how Ailaysa is helping teams build multilingual content workflows for global markets.

Thank you to the hub.brussels team for the hospitality.

Bengaluru has always been a special place for teams building in tech, and this year, we’re glad to be part of it again.

Ailaysa is heading to Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, and we’re taking this opportunity to meet the people who make this ecosystem what it is: founders, builders, researchers, creators, and teams who care about where AI is going next.

Across the three days, we’ll be sharing conversations and quick live demos of how Ailaysa helps teams write, translate, design, and build multilingual content across 100+ languages, all in one workflow.

And yes, we’re also giving a first-hand look at Chai Reader, our interactive reading experience that’s resonating deeply with readers and publishers across events.

If you’re attending BTS this year, we’d love to meet you, stop by, say hello, or catch us around the halls.

Sometimes the best ideas come from simple conversations.

See you in Bengaluru.

Ailaysa wraps up another successful participation at the Sharjah Publishers Conference.

The three-day event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with publishing professionals from across the globe, particularly from the MENA and African regions.

We observed a remarkable shift this year, where AI was once met with hesitation, the publishing industry is now actively exploring and embracing AI to enhance and transform its workflows.

We showcased Chai Reader, ‘Chatbooks’ technology powering it, and our Adaptive AI Translation solutions, demonstrating how publishers can leverage AI to drive innovation and prepare their businesses for the future of publishing.

We are delighted to see our flagship technologies behind Chai Reader, Chatbooks and Adaptive AI Translation, find application in Europe.

L’Erma di Bretschneider, one of Italy’s leading publishing houses specializing in humanities and archaeology, has launched LermAIBiblioChat, an exclusive AI-powered chatbook portal built on selected works from its catalogue.

With LermAIBiblioChat, users can chat with books (multilingually too) from the publisher’s collection, and access citations and bibliographic references, enhancing the way scholarly research and study are conducted.

We are proud to see L’Erma, one of the early adopters of AI that Ailaysa began engaging with during our visit last year to Beijing International Book fair, take a leadership role in this transformation.

Every year, the Frankfurter Buchmesse brings together the world’s brightest minds in publishing, but this year, one conversation stood out.

On the Asia Stage, our Founder & CEO, Senthil Nathan, joined an international panel of thought leaders — Robin Sebolino (Novelist & Publisher), Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado (Professor & Academic Vice President), and Kenneth Jamandre (Assistant Director, University of the Philippines Press) — for an engaging discussion on how Generative AI is transforming the university publishing landscape.

The session sparked fantastic conversations around the future of academic publishing, and audience from how AI is influencing research, authorship, and accessibility, to how institutions are adapting to the evolving relationship between human intellect and machine creativity.

For Ailaysa, this was more than just a panel, it was a powerful reminder of our shared mission to make knowledge more inclusive, multilingual, and intelligent ways to the industry.

We’re happy to have been part of this event that didn’t just discuss the future, it helped define it.
