“Strengthening school–community partnership through the Vidyanjali Initiative.”

As part of the implementation and promotion of the Vidyanjali Programme, various activities were conducted in the school under the able leadership of Dr. Sunil Kumar, Principal, to promote community participation in education.

Students participated enthusiastically in a poster-making activity to spread awareness about the initiative. An awareness programme for parents and teachers was also organized to highlight the objectives and benefits of Vidyanjali. A dedicated Vidyanjali Wall along with informative banners was displayed in the school to further promote the programme.

Our school bid a heartfelt farewell to the students of Classes 10th and 12th .The ceremony began with a sacred Hawan, seeking divine blessings for their bright and successful future.

Dr. Sunil Kumar, Principal ,bestowed his blessings upon the students and encouraged them to move ahead with confidence, determination, and integrity.

As per the guidelines received from Education Department of Chandigarh, our school made proper arrangements in the school campus for students and teachers to view the telecast of Pariksha Pe Charcha, 2026. The students were briefed by the teachers about the Programme.

Around 507 students and 68 teachers viewed the telecast in school multimedia and school hostel hall. Short discussions were done with the students by the teachers in the classrooms after the Programme.

THE 77TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great zest and gaiety within the premises of DAV Sr. Sec. School Sector 8C, Chandigarh. The event commenced with the flag-hosting ceremony by Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar followed by an address wherein he paid homage to all our freedom fighters and urged all to take a pledge to safeguard our hard-earned freedom by fulfilling our duties along with enjoying our rights as stated in Indian constitution. At the end, all present, chanted the National Anthem.
