Position Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a technical architect / senior technical lead in Java based enterprise applications with minimum 10 years of overall experience. (Preferably 15)
• Strong communication skills and must be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Team player
• Be able to learn and pick up new skills and technology quickly
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Knowledge and experience in ORM Frameworks, PostGres, SQL, and Linux
• Strong knowledge and experience with performance and scalable systems
• Knowledge and experience with microservices
• Experience with REST based web services
• Spring, Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS, JUnit, TestNG
Hands-on Experience (Technology Stack):
• UI: Angular 11
• Backend: Service Spring Boot 2
• Database: PostGres
• Credential Storage: Hashicorp Vault
• Configuration Storage: Spring Config Service
• Service Registry: Spring Registry Service
• DML/DDL deployment: LiquiBase
• Build: Gradle
• Deployment: Jenkins
• Code Repo: Github
• Code Quality: SonarQube (Preferred)
• Artifact Repo: Artifactory
• Vulnerability Scan: Veracode
• IDE: Intellij (Preferred)
Monitoring: DynaTrace, Splunk, Zabbix
Nice-to-Have
• Git, Groovy, Python
• Someone who likes technology and keeps up with it; can suggest ways to use new technology improve our code-base; but not someone with a hammer looking for nails
• Ecommerce, integration, EDI or retail system application know-how
• Specific knowledge and experience in JPA/Hibernate, JBoss
